From the first bite, it felt like a “Best Egg Tart Compilation” started playing in my head—and this one easily makes my Top 5 of all time. Honestly, you can skip the flight to Hong Kong or Macau and just join me here next time.

After a pretty terrible lunch that had me in a foul mood, I wandered in and found myself rescued by the comforting embrace of matcha and pastry. The space is small and quaint, the menu easy to notice, though I went straight to the ordering tablet (giant text, clear options). Funny enough, they didn’t even have a picture for the egg tart, but the subtle wafts of caramelized butter in the air made the decision for me.

The drinks were solid (a few had sold out), but the Butter Caramel Egg Tart? Absolute perfection. Crisp, delicate layers that shatter just right, holding a rich custard with a subtle caramel depth that lingers beautifully. It’s decadent yet balanced—the kind of pastry you remember.

TL;DR: Get the Butter Caramel Egg Tart and be happy. Totally worth the detour to this...

Lelecha only has a total of 5 kinds of dessert but oh, do they do them WELL. I've never seen an egg tart like theirs before, it's flaky to the MAX and has a butter caramelized layer on top. They also have a tiramisu egg tart but it was already sold out for the day at 4PM.

And their tiramisu comes in the shape of a book, like are you kidding me?? The matcha flavor is chef's kiss.

For drinks, the jasmine bouquet tea is their most popular with a really nice balance of fruity and aromatic while not being too sweet ;)

I can confirm the hand-mashed taro coconut tastes as good as it sounds, and you gotta add their special milk mochi topping in there.

Honestly the 626 has no shortage of stores like this but Lelecha is a new standout that fits right in.

The manager of Lelecha is awesome! I had a very unpleasant shopping experience today. My friend and I met a lot of people at Lelecha offline, so we wanted to try their desserts. When we entered the store to buy and were about to check out, they said that Fantuan had an event and recommended us to place an order on Fantuan. We put down the desserts in the store and prepared to place an order online, but the clerk suddenly removed the desserts on Fantuan and we couldn't buy them.
