Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Roy

WARNING - this review will ruin this Arctic Circle for you.

I came here with family a few nights ago for some shakes. It was completely packed (which is understandable for a Friday night). We placed our orders and sat down to wait. After about 15 minutes of watching them serve food to others who had come in after us, we got up to ask them about our orders. I could understand if they'd forgotten them in the rush. We then waited at the counter for another five minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. In that five minutes, I watched the poor girl making shakes drop half of the ice cream out of a cup, get frustrated, and pick the ice cream back up with her bare fingers and put it back in. Then she finished with the shake and handed it to someone in the drive-through. After we saw that, we decided to just ask for a refund. I couldn't blame her, though - she was drowning and clearly unprepared to deal with that much pressure on her own. I've definitely been there before. Which is one big reason why I no longer work with food!

After seeing what I saw, there's no way I can stomach the thought of going back...

Horrible service. Almost dropped all my drinks into my vehicle cause the kid at the window was paying more attention to something else outside rather than the drinks. We ordered 2 meals, an extra fry and 2 extra drinks. Forgot 2 of the Fry's and a burger. Closed the window before we could even check the order. Had to hold up the line and wait for them to come back to the window. Finally came back to the window asked what was wrong told them we were missing food, he grabbed the receipt and then closed the window before we could even tell them what was missing. He disappeared for a minute with our receipt and asked what we were missing. Before we could tell them everything they forgot, he disappeared again. Came back with the missing burger. Had to tell them we were missing fries and then they took a while to get the fries for us. No apologies, no fry sauce, no straws. Had to go in for fry sauce and straws since we would be there for another 10 minutes just trying to get...

Arctic Circle is one of my favorite fast food restaurants however my last 2 experiences att particular franchise have been a disappotment. I have an allergy to wheat so I have to order a hamburger with no bun. The last 2 times I have ordered a mushroom burger with no bun I have also received no meat. The first time this happened I got all the way home and had to turn around and come back. When I got there there had been another customer call with the same complaint. They thought I was her but I hadn't called, I just went straight back. This time before I left I checked. Again no meat...when I explained to the girl at the window she asked me for mine back. When she presented me with my replacement it was the same ball of cheese on lettus with a patty slapped on top of it. I am pretty sure that is against code. So I went in and they made me a fresh one but it shouldn't be this hard to order a hamburger...
