Capital Coney Island — Restaurant in Royal Oak Charter Township

The food here is very good some of the waitress are very good however my order is always wrong I warned them of a allergic reaction for my son and they still put eggs and his food I ordered something that was not quite a breakfast item and all the cook did was talk junk all isn't it breakfast time who orders dinner like this is it I thought it was breakfast time or I guess it's supposed to be brunch like just nasty and rude about it and I'm listening to him and I'm like you know don't judge me because this is what I want like this is a Coney Island Coney Islands are for you don't have a you don't have a certain time for you no breakfast and dinner then it should not matter and that's why I came to a Coney Island because other places are restricted on certain food items being sold at a certain time normally when you go to a Coney Island it doesn't matter what you get when you get it I just think that their customer service needs a lot of work and for some of those women who've been there working there for over a year or two for you to still constantly mess up orders right in my face is ridiculous but I will say overall the food is really good where they messed it up or not but guess what for me communication and customer service is everything so if you have snotty people rather their The Kooks the owners or the waitresses is crazy you know and then that's another thing me and my husband we always like to give a shout out to the Kooks if they can really cook I've tried to do that several occasions and then this one got his works there he's just always so competitive like what what you looking for the cook for what's wrong what's wrong with your food and it's like do we just trying to compliment them like it's nothing wrong with the food but you know the way you act trying to intimidate somebody just makes us not even want to deal with you all anymore I'll shout out to the Kooks then don't complain...

I went to this Coney Island for the first time, and I ordered a chicken pita sandwich with Swiss and American cheese and a chicken tender dinner. The lady at the window was soo rude, she handed me my food and I said can I get barbeque sauce for my chicken tenders, she replied I already put ranch dressing in your bag for the chicken tenders. I said you can't assume everyone eats ranch dressing with their chicken tenders, she said well that will be $.80. I replied so you don't get one free sauce with your chicken tenders, she said well give me that ranch dressing back. I told her there is only one ranch dressing in the bag and I want that for my chicken pita, we went back and forth, she finally gave me the BBQ sauce for the chicken tenders. When I got home, they laid one slice of unmelted American cheese on one side and one slide of unmelted Swiss on the other, the food was horrible. So, I called back this morning hoping to speak with a manager, a lady answered I said good morning, can I speak with your supervisor, she said she is not in. I said okay what is her name, she said I don't know, we call her Mrs. B. I said okay do you know what time Mrs. B will be in, hell, I don't know, I'm not in her body, I can't tell you what time she will be in. I'm like OMG, I told her, so all the staff is just rude, she started yelling I'm not rude I am just trying to tell you and I hung up, too early in the morning for the negative behavior, neither to say I won't be going back here anymore. But by reading the reviews, it appears everybody is complaining about the same thing ESPECIALLY the red head lady in drive-thru and nothing is changing so I think management does...

They have the rudest server in the world. She hung up on me twice. I tried ordering from Uber eats and not only did they give my order away to the wrong person which would be totally forgivable if it weren’t for the attitude she gave to my Uber driver. Then they false advertis their products the picture showed that the food comes with curly fries. The first time I ordered it didn’t so this time I asked them for curly fries in the notes section because they did not give the option to select. She started yelling at me and refusing to provide curly fries accusing me of being unwilling to pay the dollar and 50 cent difference. I told her I would pay ten dollars more just to get the curly fries is $1.50 worth all this on top of my order being an hour late. Then she huffed and hung up on me. I called back she herd my voice and hung up on me again. I love their corn beef sandwich but I will not be ordering from this place again. Also my order just arrived and they didn’t get the drinks right. There are to many coney islands in Michigan to ever consider ordering...
