This review is long overdue! We had a media wall with storage and fireplace designed, built, and installed in November. I have never contracted work like this before, and I must say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Steve, George, Chris, and the team at Furniture Profiles have a great operation with quality customer care. I had a couple of very detailed phone conversations with Steve before we scheduled the visit for him to come and design. At that meeting he covered every single detail for this project with perfection. I appreciated his attention to detail and great communication during the process. George and Chris are definitely masters of their craft- the wall unit is gorgeous! And very high-quality! The level of quality work they put into building these pieces is top-notch. We had the opportunity to meet with George and Chris during the process before the install. Seldom I’ve worked with someone who is doing the labor and is also a very good communicator. These guys really listen and deliver! The install was delayed because we were dragging our feet on making a decision on which fireplace to purchase. They were so patient with us! (Usually the customer is waiting on the contractor. This time it was the other way around lol!) The install went very smoothly. and very neat and organized, I might add! We are so pleased and satisfied with the whole experience. We have spent more time in our basement this winter than the previous 3 years we have lived here. It’s just so beautiful, inviting and cozy....

The process started with Steve drawing our vision and providing suggestions to perfect the final project. George and Chris are the father son team who bring the drawings to life! They are expert cabinet makers who have been with the company since the beginning. They seem to posses the same level of passion, perfection, and attention to detail which I am sure they had when they first started out!

During our home remodel, Steve met with and collaborated with other contractors on the project to ensure everyone was on the same page and able to work with out bumping into one another. Really liked working with Steve who designed a really nice bookcase/cabinet fixture around my fireplace. Had him out to design & give a quote & hired him on the spot. In the meantime, I had the entire interior of my house painted. Steve’s team came out in February (2021) & did a nice job with the carpentry work. After they had left I went to set my TV back against the wall & noticed smears of caulk and 4 holes in the wall on the side of my TV. Contacted Steve immediately who said he’d have a guy come out when they begin work on another job in my area. I followed up again & was blown off again (same “excuse”). Now, 10 weeks later, and not once did they reach out to me to get this taken care of. Walls are still damaged as I had foolishly expected them to right this wrong and my patience is gone.
