Mr. Corned Beef — Restaurant in Royal Oak Charter Township

Oh my Chef ish again... First of all... the building was FREEZING... I got a headache from waiting for 1 sandwich longer that I've EVER WAITED in LOU'S Deli for 3 sandwiches. (When I go to Lous I usually order 2/3 sandwiches) ... the sandwich was basic and it tasted like med rare grounded beef instead brined beef brisket which made me feel nausea... The sandwich was small for $13 and the meat just didn't taste like it's been cured long enough. And the light skinned young man came off as unprofessional I didn'tlike that he was cooking the entire time I was in there but made it a point to grab my food and finish my order I felt he did that to have an opportunity to say somethingto me.. (Like most creepy men). I wanted to say something but I figured the professionalism is none existing in this establishment so at that moment I figured I'm never coming here again. I walked away... As professional Chef 22 yrs 10 in Manhattan I had to give an honest opinion... If only Esquires was...

First time visit. (Honestly I was on my way to another corned beef place but I was caught at the light and saw this place. I figured why not. I'm so glad I stopped in😍)

The inside is plain but very clean. The customer service was great. The cashier was very friendly and professional. After I placed my order she repeated it back to make sure it was correct. Service was very fast for the time of day I went. They have a TV for customers to watch while waiting for their orders.

The sandwich was good. The portion was decent for the price. The meat was not dry. It was a little under seasoned for my taste. I did enjoy the sandwich. The menu is limited compared to other places but you can customize your sandwich.

I purchased 3/4 lb of shrimp It's my fault I should have only gotten a small order since I had never tried them before I want to refund There was more dough than shrimps. The dough was tasty but it was so thick I really couldn't enjoy the shrimp and if I didn't eat it right away by the time I got home the package was sweating and the shrimp or the dough with no longer crispy it was smushy I don't like smushy though I really wish I could get a refund I wasn't driving otherwise I would have took it back and I love shrimp I tried to support all owners all businesses that are trying to strive but y'all need to stick the corned beef.
