I have edited my review to reflect that i was contacted by the store owner. Their commitment to giving me a better experience is quite laudable. Their sincere apology and explanation that this was a one off event is to be noted and acknowledged. I will hopefully update this review the remaining star once we have again ordered. However, I must say I am quite impressed with their response to my review. It lets me and the public know that their customers matter.
Weordered again after a year of not ordering. We placed an order for just pizza and soda. We placed the order online so our order was specific as we added toppings to our pizza. We verified before placing order. After an hour wait we called Jets, they are less than 2 miles away. The pizza had not left the building. About 20 minutes later I received a call from the driver who stated that she was at my door ringing my bell and I was not answering the door. I explained that she was at the wrong address. She started to argue with me but I cut that short by saying I was in the driveway of my house and no one was there. I remained on the phone and guided her to my house. When she arrived I was informed that they did not have the size of pizza that I ordered but gave me two smaller instead. I also realized that even though I had been charged for the soda she did not have it. She offered to return it but advised it would be awhile before she could come back with it. She said she would let the store know and credit me for it. I'm not exactly sure what that means since I don't have an account with them. I just checked it off but this was one of the reasons we stop using Jets. When opening the pizza I see that they have messed up the toppings on our pizza. It is not the pizza that we ordered. I called the store utterly frustrated because we have waited over an hour and a half for a pizza did not get our sodas did not get the pizza we ordered and we pay $20 more than if we had ordered from Papa Johns. I was told by the individual who answered the phone at the store that he had my name and number and then a manager would call me that evening. As of the next afternoon, today, I have not received a call. We will not be using Jets again because obviously they cannot get it right nor will they honor their mistakes. Heck, the manager would not even call me back to address this issue. Being originally from Michigan we love of Jet's Pizza franchise and order it often when in Fort Lauderdale but I'm going to stick with another delivery service in Royal Palm. Sorely disappointed. I have always loved Jets but the service at this location is awful. They don’t read the instructions for delivery they will give your food to any random person on the street. And then when you call and ask why you didn’t receive a call when delivering as you wrote on the delivery instructions they lack any accountability and say oh well the driver didn’t do anything wrong. Is it normal for a delivery place to not read instructions for delivery? I’ve lived here 6 months and never had an issue with any other place corporate, privately owned, DoorDash. The person on the phone tried lecturing me and saying that my neighbors were bad awful people who steal,…. Um for what? I wrote clear instructions. Not only that but the driver saw me come out and instead of putting two and two together and telling me, “oh that guy has it”- HE SPED AWAY AS I GOT CLOSER!! I thought maybe someone pulled in by mistake that’s how fast he was gone once he saw me.
Anyways when I asked my neighbor (who would never eat any fast food or anything with seed oils as he is older/concerned about his health) about it he said his brothers name is Chris. His brother was over so he thought he ordered it, for context my name is Grace. He said that he confirmed with the driver twice that it was for CHRIS since he wasn’t aware of any order and twice the driver said yes. But sure it’s not the drivers fault. She was rude and completely lacked customer service. She clearly has not been trained to be a manager as she kept repeating the same response because she couldnt think of anything better to say. She would not admit that she messed the order up. Then tried to place an order for the pizza that I didnt get and wanted to charge me for the pizza that SHE DID NOT PUT THE ORDER FOR CORRECTLY. When I asked for the name for the owner and her name, she then told me she was going to pull up the security camera to show that she had taken the correct order.
