First time here. Had no clue this plaza had this Thai restaurant. A poster inside shows 20th anniversary. Came for here for a birthday lunch. Standing room only. They must be doing something people love. Would love to try their house menu and get a feel of the restaurants true face one day outside of lunch. Tasty food service with a smile and very friendly staff. 01/12/24 So a couple days later….I came back for dinner to try the true face of the restaurant ordering from the regular menu outside of their lunch specials. Surprised to see as I was pulling up that again it was standing room only. I said ok, this place has something going right and people are willing to wait. We waited only about twenty minutes as the friendly co owner welcomed us in Thai Tea was cozy and started things for me Penang Duck. Wow. Because of this dish. This restaurant last night became my favorite Thai restaurant I don’t remember the last time I had duck so delicious. Tom Kha Seafood. Soup was hearty and so yummy. This place gets it. Dancing Eel hit the spot for me. Slurpy mmmmm I dined here twice in a week and it’s looking like it may be three, if I know myself. I know on weekend they’re only open for dinner so I may be the first in line. In this span of time, this became my favorite Thai restaurant. A restaurant I did not even know existed in this location. To me that’s a wonderful way to start the year.

A classic Asian restaurant. Upon arriving, we were seated at booth, where I noticed a banner on the wall saying they had been in business for over 20 years. Not a common thing in Florida. When I say classic, it was regarding not only the decor but the way the meal was served - as each dish was ready, it was brought out fresh, but waiting to be served altogether. With sushi and sashimi, that is important. My husband had some of both. He commented that it was the thickest cut of sashimi he ever had and appreciated it greatly. When my Jumbo Shrimp Hawaiian Fried Rice arrived not only were the shrimp jumbo so was the amount of tender rice with peas, carrots, cashews and grilled pineapple. We took what I didn't eat home for both of us to enjoy the next evening! We also had what we generally call Crab Rangoon or Crab Wonton (best we ever had,) Tuna Tataki (I even liked it) and Lemongrass Chicken Skewers (good flavor. ) The service throughout was great. Our waiter had a sense of humor, which we enjoyed. Looking forward to our next visit. Many menu items we wish to try.

First time going there and for a Friday it was packed. Saw people waiting 25-30mins for parties of 3 or 4. Thankfully, they sat me and my guest at the bar which was fine and had space for the drinks and food we purchased. Understood that it was a busy nice so I was fine with waiting and the staff were very nice. The chicken satay was probably a favorite for me for the night. The fried calamari was decent and I loved the batter for it. Some of it was a bit overcooked. The dumpling soup was okay I believe it was missing the fried garlic. The pad see ew sauce I enjoyed with the broccoli. The pork was tough a bit and I didn’t care for the noodles. I did order the fried chicken wings to go and I absolutely loved them. But I would definitely try this restaurant again. They had a lot of things I wanted to try from their Thai and Sushi menu.

Ah Mother's day! I'm not usually a big fan of going out for Mother's Day but the special people in my life talked me into it. What a nice evening. We all decided to try something outside our comfort zone. One had pork balls & noodles soup, I think it was. Hard for me to remember because I was laughing at the name!😂 But the spouse thought it was outstanding. Another dish tried was spicey pork & I don't remember the name of that one either but the diner that ordered was very pleased with his decision. I had the crispy duck panang (I think) oh boy it was delicious. I've been a duck fan since having such excellent Chinese food in San Francisco's China Town. Peppermint's duck was every bit as good. Not only that we all had so much we could not eat, that we all had enough for 2 more dinners at home. The staff topped our evening off with great little cupcakes that said "Mom" on them & they were kind enough to let us take them home since we all almost rolled out of there. Also from previous experience I totally recommend Peppermint Thai's , Pad Thai (chicken) the perfect blend of everything for a perfect Pad Thai. We had a waitress who served us with smiles (even under the mask) & was very gracious with her suggestions for a fabulous meal. In general, a GREAT restaurant & before I forget, when you go...try their Ginger dressing...truly amazing. Happy Mother's...

The rolls are very small, the taste of the dishes are not better than many other places for the money! Nothing spectacular about the food; Which is surprising because they seem to have a big customer base for the small sized restaurant. The wonton soups were aweful. The dumplin that wraps the chicken on them tasted so weird and off. We requested new ones... With deliberation and much argument as to why, we got new ones. But that incident did not affect the rating of this review in contrast to service. The restaurant has a musty air feel/smell to it. Possible A/C filtration is ineffective, the entire time from entering my throat was itching. I came out I felt fine, I went back in I felt the same again. So it was definitely inside. I give one star rating on service authenticity: The waiters aren't very friendly at all, all tend to be aggressive, struggling with anger management, (especially the older gentleman) and they are even more offensive if tips aren't in the 30 dollar plus range. It's a shame, I don't need that type of stress n discomfort when I'm out to have a good time...
