So this place is very wishy-washy. Sometimes you get good service. Sometimes you barely get a smile and sometimes you get no help at all, especially in the deli area. You can't see any of the food and no one approaches you and ask you if you need help. They just kind of look at you. Oh well. My second visit wasn't as good. The beans and rice weren't as fresh and the huevos rancheros were lacking. The chips were overcooked also. The service was okay but the staff was on their lunch break which is fine. I stopped by here after my workout for breakfast yesterday morning. I was going to order a couple of breakfast items but the server suggested the birria tacos. They were quite delicious. Brisket tacos served with cheese and consomme. I also got the rice and beans which were awesome. Traditional Mexican refried beans with short grain rice. Andrea and Rosie were awesome. Andrea's mom is one of the cooks and she did a great job. Inside is very colorful and they have a few tables and chairs. You can also get shots of tequila and mixed drinks while you're there. I recommend this place highly friendly staff and great atmosphere....
Read moreTerrible Terrible experience is an understatement. We ordered almost $200 worth of food Togo. Once home, we realized that we only had 30% of the order. And that my friends, isn’t the terrible part of this review. We called to explain the mix up and the young lady who answered the phone was incredibly rude. Asked “well, are we coming back or what?!” As one can imagine, I was taken aback buy this response as I was expecting an apology for the oversight. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she wasn’t there. The young lady then stated that she needed to know if I was coming for my order or not as they were short handed and were busy. Please take me as seriously as you can - this is no exaggeration. The most unprofessional and rude experience to date. Apparently they have too much business to worry about customer service as she told me she didn’t have time deal with me. Shame on the young girls left in charge with no manners and the manger who felt they were an appropriate first impression for the business. First and last...
Read moreI was not expecting great things from the other reviews but for my Wife and I it was WOW. Just Wow. Our food was excellent, fresh, tasty big portions and quickly served hot. Wife got a MONSTER Burrito and it was made just as she asked. I got the Chimichanga Platter with Beans & Rice side. It was HUGE. Easily the best Beans & Rice I've ever had and we lived in New Mexico for years. Chimichanga was excellent too. I could only eat a third of it, looking forward to the leftovers ;) The decor is low end but everything was clean, including the Kitchen areas I could see. That's a big one for me ... So, I have to say we were pretty blown away on our first visit. The front desk girl is shy and speaks limited English but was quite helpful and friendly. Timid sort, so be kind ... a thing that should be default but sometimes we forget, eh? Absolutely coming back! BTW - They DO have drinks (alcohol) too, and I saw a sidewalk sign for "Taco Tuesdays" 6 for $12 hiding in a corner. I'd bet their Tacos blow away Taco Bell's in the front...
