Food was ok but service was pathetic . If possible I would have given 0 star for service and 0 for the behavior of the staff and -ve for their arrogance and -ve for their attitude. They have Bar menu but price of whisky is not mentioned anywhere so they can trap you as per their wish. In my last visit they gave double shot whisky in shot glasses. Also they were constantly taking glasses away as they had shortage of glasses. To add to the drama they are chasing customers as if customers are not going to paying them and would run away. For eg we went out within vicinity of their bar area(outside sitting of the bar) and a guy came out shouting that you guys have a $750 bill to pay. And we were like “Seriously Dude, are you speculating that we are planning to run away”? You need to trust your customers who are paying for your service and don’t chase them as if they won’t pay. I never had such a bad experience. I had been to bars who charge $30 -$50 for whiskey but they would mention the price in the menu. It’s hard to believe that you guys can cheat customer saying it’s a double shot whisky you served. Would never come back to a place where customer are treated as thieves and would run away from paying the bill . You got $750 from 8 of us .As per their calculation I had 10 shot of whiskey. This is not 1rst time I was having whiskey and I know what 10 peg of whiskey is. Please work on your service ethics . It’s a serious problem for you guys. With this kind of attitude you will loose more regular customers as you can cheat once but we are matured adults and we can be fooled once only . Work on your arrogance too. And for you customers are cheaters if they give reality check to you .

Never coming back to this place again . Hope it’s a reality check for you and you treat your customers well . And start taking payments through cards. Another shady aspect of you guys taking only cash payment. It’s 2025 and you are still taking payments in cash only ?? Take cards before serving so that you can trust your customers and you don’t have to chase them.

Rest up to you guys. Try to be more professional instead of being manipulative/arrogant and not trusting...

Reply to Owner’s comment: We were happy until we were asked if we knew how much the bill was and if we are heading back. We never asked for 20% discount as we know it is online only so not sure where did you get that. Please don’t make up stuff. And last, I had 4 drinks which according to your measurements is equivalent to 8, correct. This is not the first time I had a drink and I know at the 4th I am pretty drunk so either you are serving us some other fancy stuff or just lying about the measurements. And, the server had to be pretty much called every time by someone, no one showed up on their own more than a few times. I always support small businesses and this is a true review. I am sorry if the truth got you upset.

This bar is as shady as it gets. First they only take cash which is probably the only establishment I know who don’t accept cards and are still costly as hell. Service is so damn slow. We came here twice one on a Friday night with only half tables occupied and still had to wait at least 15 mins for someone to come take our order and the other time it took equally long and we had to stop a waitress to take our order. Second, they are dishonest. They charge as and what they feel. First time we went in Dec our Basil Hayden on the rocks cost us $6.50 and second time in Jan the same cost us $13. Double the amount but damn sure not double the alcohol. We were a big group of about 10 and everyone was taking 4-5 drinks and they saw this as a good opportunity to take advantage. They literally served us in shot glasses with ice filled up in them so how was it a double?? LIARS!! Third, after just one round of drinks and not so full bar they were already asking for our glasses and making us finish our drinks quickly because they had run out of glasses. Wow, prepared much! And last, we went out for a smoke and one of the staff came out hunting for us explaining our bill had run over $700. Poor dude was probably used to people running off without paying that he came out hunting for us. Honest, we felt we were being judged and looked down upon because of our color. Never going back to this “gem”. Food was just ‘meh’ so no reason...

Had an unfortunate experience at Toms last night. Usually Toms is a great place to go and enjoy yourself. It was well before 2am (closing time for Toms on a Friday night). The bartenders decided to stop serving our party of about 7 people without a word. Spent a lot of money there last night between drinks, food, pull tabs. Everyone present felt very disrespected. Upon leaving the one bartender even made a comment that the tip wasn’t good. Why would the tip be any good when you’re making us wait for drinks that we eventually noticed were never coming. No one was sloppy or wasted. Probably won’t return for quite some time. Very disappointed.

Edit: No one tried picking a fight with any of you and no one was slurring words or any of the signs that we had too much to drink. We’re very aware it’s your responsibility to not over serve people and that’s always appreciated. No one told any of us that we were cut off. Your bartenders were also tipped with each drink order as we did not have an open tab. They were tipped continuously throughout the night. We even tipped the back of the house because we felt bad ordering food 15 minutes before you stopped serving food at 11p. Your bartender took our last drink order and just walked away and we didn’t get those drinks. Also, we had only been there since 10p and a couple others since 11p. So where’s this “several hours” coming from? You’re very combative with people who don’t give you great...

Tom's Bar PA. Tuesday night 7 to 11 cheese $3 Cheesesteak special. who can't love that. Well, it is small, cash only and they allow smoking. Other than that, I love this place. I probably wouldn't go back without a Dan. Everyone was as nice as could be and out on a Tuesday night enjoining a $3 cheesesteak. The sign says $3.50 beer but they do charge more for the higher alcohol content craft beers. Perception is a funny thing. $3 cheesesteak, very excited. Little oval roll comes out in a basket covered in lettuce, excitement drops. First bite lots of roll and lettuce but roll pretty good and fresh, excitement considers going back up. Third bite there's a sneaky amount of good meat in there, excitement Rises. 7th bite cheesesteaks gone, excitement unsure what to do. $3.50 (extras) cheesesteak, $6 draft of Pizza Boy Craft Sour Beer (bartender did tell me ahead of time it would be extra), $9.50 plus tip, lots of TVs, lots of bar games and nice neighborly feel; very good night.

Moved to Phoenixville a few years ago, to date this is still my favorite local bar. Personally, I like a bar with a local community-feel. Whether or not the bartenders recognize me coming back, they are always very nice, socialable, and greet with a smile before Im in the doorway. The atmosphere is nice where you can talk with those around you and still enjoy music, live or speaker. There's darts which I LOVE as well as a juke! The other guests in my experience have always been nice, some socialable and some even taught use some fun bar games with coasters. The food is great comfort food! I often get their wings with XXX hot sauce, one of my favorite wing sauces around here! The wings are breaded and crispy. My partner got the chicken sandwich and took the bartenders advice for the garlic parm despite not being a sauce person, loved it! I've never had a problem with my order, server, bartender, bill, or other patrons in 5+ years.
