A Cup Boba Tea — Restaurant in Royse City

FLAVOR: If you're new to boba, you might like this. However, we ordered Thai Milk Tea Boba and Dirty Tea Milk Tea Boba and both tasted SO sweet with not enough of the actual tea flavor. This makes it seem like they are overcompensating with sugar to make up for lack of flavor. (I did a pickup order via Uber Eats and didn't see the option to change sweetness so that might be something to change as well. I don't think toning down the sweetness was going to help the flavor at all though.) Mine in particular reminded me of cereal milk - I couldn't really taste any tea flavor.

TIMEFRAME: Regarding the older reviews about timeframe, that's something I would've expected when they first opened anyway and is not a complaint for me here - they had the drinks ready within a decent timeframe.

PRICE: I felt it was overpriced at over $15 for two drinks that we ordered without any add ins.

All of that said, this is a new business (the first boba place in RC), so I'm hopeful that it'll improve, and I plan try it out...

Recently moved to Josephine, read the reviews and decided to try. Waited 30min in the parking lot for them to open this morning. TERRIBLE! I got the summer melon tea-green tea with rainbow jelly, so strong you couldn’t taste anything but bitterness, and the jelly, I spit it out I couldn’t even eat that!! My daughter ordered the Taro Milk with tapioca —-it was watered down, the tapioca balls soaked in water (not the correct way to store), like chewing nasty water goop! Unsure how this place has 4 stars because they know nothing about Boba or Tea, and the people reviewing this is a good place, must not know what good boba and tea is suppose to taste like OR they want to submit a good review to get a “free gift” from the gift basket, so...

For everyone stating the chemical taste, they're not lying. Bought 3 drinks 2 mango foams & 1 strawberry smoothie all 3 for around $20 1 had tapioca the other 2 has strawberry popping. The mango foam tasted off I wanted to say it was the foam since I've had it before from other places. Didn't taste much mango it really just tasted like spoil milk. Had to throw the drink away. I didn't want all the drinks to be wasted so I did my best to finish the strawberry one which wasn't too bad but still wasn't as good. Unfortunately I won't come back, maybe in a couple of months if they change anything. Until then definitely go to rock wall. (Bubble...
