First of all in a small city trying to grow as big as Dallas, well you get what you get! I love subway and I have worked as a manager for one and my apologies but this subway needs mature minded employees. I ordered from my phone as I was waiting in line at Walmart (looking at subway) and I ordered the veggie sub but I forgot to ADD avocado, so WHILE he was in the process of putting my veggies on, I walked over and asked the girl could I please ADD avocado because I forgot to add it while I the app ordering.... You think I said something political in public. They: at the same time "WE CAN'T" ME: I'm going to pay, I just forgot to add it They continuously told me as I even asked them okay then just let me buy a side of avocado... and again, We Can't , and they proceeded to give me some logical reason why they couldn't. And I said, wait you can't sell me a side of avocado? No we ... and that's when I said you know what, nevermind (pointing @avos in Walmart) I'll just buy a whole one, it's okay. Unfortunately Walmarts avocados weren't ripe yet. I just want to know... WHEN did suggestive sales STOP? I have been in Food Service well over 20 years and I have never stopped with suggestive sales. You buy cake, I'll at least try to sell you ice cream! You may not buy it, but at least I've done one thing the company asks of me trying to get an extra sale. Anyway they weren't near closing, they weren't out of Avocado's. . THEY JUST CAN'T
so I probably won't be going to Subway in Walmart for a little while, I pay close attention as a customer.,..I actually put myself in their position to check myself and make sure I'm being a good patron. The teens need some SPUNK:SPARK when interacting with customers not just between each other and a Genuine smile would be nice too. ALSO: the over dressing of a Sub Sandwich doesn't make it good in fact it makes it's appearance tacky. They could have 1/2 of the veggies and given some avocado. No but seriously they did OVER DRESS my husband's sub and mine... TOO MUCH BUT the employees weren't rude, just a smidge greedy....đ¤ŁJK!! I'm not letting go of the Avocado and the extra $, if you can get another $.10 JUMP onnn ittt! And $1.00 or more you might get employee of the month especially if you make it a good habit đ But to the manager, please explain why he couldn't put avocado on my sandwich as he was dressing it? Or why couldn't I purchase a side of avocado? I just really wanna know, AND I don't understand not getting...
   Read moreMy wife loves Subway so I placed a delivery order for a foot-long cold cut sub for her, but it was just meat, cheese, and bread. They put no vinaigrette, tomatoes, or lettuce as ordered. And since Subway is not on my list of favorites, I ordered a steak and cheese wrap, add smashed avocado. They informed me that they had no tortillas for the wrap. Since the only option was to choose another bread for the wrap, or cancel the order. I wanted my wife to get her Subway, so I told them to "wrap' the wrap in flatbread. The order came, but the meat was ice cold, the cheese not melted, the bread cold, and there was no chipotle sauce, or avocado. It was an unmitigated, repulsive, inedible item! I tried calling the store to let the manager on duty know so that this experience could be used as a crew learning tool. WRONG, they didn't answer the phone (even after 2 calls). Well, the next time I order Subway, IF (N)EVER, will be just for my wife. I was going to give this a three-star rating, thinking that my wife's order would be correct. WRONG!    Read moreI want to start with my family loves Subway (just not this one). This subway location has to be the worst one in DFW maybe even the worst in Texas. Other than the first few months this location opened it has been horrible. About once every 6 months or so we try it again hoping itâs better just to be let down. Today was no exception. I understand itâs hard to hire good minimum wage help but itâs looking bad up there. The fact that the two kids working moved slower than sloths wasnât even the worst part. This restaurant was disgustingly dirty. Literally everywhere you look was nasty. The glass was so dirty you could barley see the food. Floors look like they havenât been mopped in days at least. Needless to say we wonât be going back any time soon. The owner of this location should be embarrassed. I hope someone sees this and makes some changes.
