Went with a group of 6 last night and got there at 5 and were seated immediately. The waitress took our drink order and when we got our drinks took our food order. 3 Quesadillas, a soup, blackened chicken, and a green chili chicken enchiladas. An hour and 10 minutes later the quesadillas and soup come out, cold not too mention no rice or beans. We watched it die up on the counter. 15 minutes later the chicken came, 10 minutes later the green chili enchiladas came. Totally unacceptable. So a gentleman in the party asked for the manager who came to the table with a snug look on his face wearing black gloves that he wore the entire time even using the POS system with them on. The manager started making excuses never taking responsibility and said at one point ‘the good news is I will get you all some sopapillas. While the manager was standing there the rice and beans came finally and one of the beans was unrecognizable and the manager didn’t even know what they were. They were sour also, not edible. When we asked the manager about the rice and beans with the quesadillas, he literally said ‘I am not sure why that’s on the menu, you have to request beans and rice.’ Umm it is literally on the menu. The green chili enchiladas were burnt. Like something was scorched in the pan burnt. It was inedible. After back and forth with the rude manager he took all food off except the blackened chicken and soup. We finally left at 715. I would like to give kudos to our waitress, she was new, her third day and she did her best. You could tell she was embarrassed, it was not her fault. Being a local this is extremely disappointing. The type of service we received was extremely sub par and the food (for the most part was just nasty). I hope this review finds the owner so he can make some changes. I personally and the people with me will not go back ! Very sad because this used to be a favorite...
Read moreWent here on a relatives recommendation and overall it was just okay and if it wasn’t for the good service it would have been a 2 star rating. Immediately adjacent parking lot is small and can easily be tough to maneuver in and out if you discover the lot is full. There are other small parking lots to choose from as well with no real signage so heads up.
We visited on a Saturday night and it was busy with an hour wait which was t an issue for us. We didn’t search the entire building and the flow was a little different, but he upstairs portion is where you check in and generally eat. There is a waiting area inside otherwise downstairs is a patio with seating and in the first floor is a bar as well as some additional seating. Bartenders were friendly and moved quickly but had a line 4 to 5 people deep at most times it seemed while also trying to serve people at the bar food and drinks as well for the the tables.
One thing they offered which I’ve never seen is a help yourself chips and salsa station, both of which were good. As we were waiting for our table on the patio a gentleman came through offering small, saran wrapped banana bread loaves which was a little different. Once we got our table we got more chips and salsa and asked for queso dips which honestly tasted like Valletta. It wasn’t a what I would call a traditional queso and would not be something I would ever order again. The menu was somewhat limited for a Mexican restaurant which was a little disappointing but everyone was able to find something to eat. Food okay, nothing amazing and didn’t live up to our expectations unfortunately. We did order dessert which was pretty good; sopapilla was a hit and the dos leches was enjoyed by the kids but not the adults. Service was the best part of the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Casa Blanca Mexican restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff. The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy, with traditional Mexican decor that transported me straight to Mexico. Now, let's talk about the food. I opted for the salmon tacos and boy, was I in for a treat. The salmon was expertly cooked to perfection, with a delicious charred exterior that added a hint of smokiness to each bite. The fish was incredibly flavorful, tender, and melted in my mouth. The tacos themselves were beautifully assembled with fresh and vibrant ingredients, like tangy lime, crisp lettuce, and a mouthwatering cilantro-infused sauce that complemented the salmon perfectly. Each bite was an explosion of flavors and textures that left me completely satisfied.
But what truly made my dining experience unforgettable was the amazing waitress and staff. They were attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about the satisfaction of their customers. They went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and my dining experience was exceptional. Their warmth and friendliness added an extra layer of enjoyment to the already delightful meal.
Casa Blanca Mexican restaurant truly serves the best Mexican tacos I have ever had. The combination of the incredibly delicious salmon tacos, the inviting atmosphere, and the outstanding service make it a must-visit for any lover of Mexican cuisine. I highly recommend trying out this hidden gem if you find yourself craving an authentic and unforgettable...
