Sierra Cinema - Allen Theatres — Local services in Ruidoso

Had a horrible experience yesterday when we saw Lilo and stitch and I went to check the time on my phone (on silent/brightness turned down as low as it can go). As I'm looking at a notification an older male worker slammed his fist on my chair and told me to turn my phone off very rudely. I put my phone down because I was so startled by the situation but ended up walking out of the movie to speaking to this person after the fact and telling him how rude he was in how he spoke to me. This was a kids movie. There was a crying baby in the row in front of me and lots of kids talking throughout the theater (totally fine and expected because it's a kids movie). I highly doubt me checking my dim phone on the back row for 30 seconds bothered anyone. Also, when did movie theaters make it a requirement to turn phones off instead of just silencing them? Please speak with your staff about their power trip attitude. I was not the only person he did this to...

I got to experience this Cinema first hand and sadly I took other reviews into consideration and didn't ask for military discount and the manager became a little nicer. At first the manager was aggressive but that changed like I said.

Now, as far as the building goes I do agree it needs to be updated. It is so outdated, crowded, and the seating is rather odd. Not only that the arm rest was difficult to bring down. As far as sound goes, I didn't hear the other movies playing.

So, overall they definitely need a game zone big enough for more than 15 people. The restrooms need to have more than 3 stalls for men and more than 4 for women. The cinema seats almost up to 100 people. You'd expect to have enough stalls. I literally avoided the restroom due to how small it was. I knew there were other women who probably needed the restroom more.

For a small town, this Cinema sure is a tourist location, and with that said it should...

Very very disappointed, i have come here for 12 years every week sometimes 3 times a week, well this new manager is horrible rude she is crazy tells us we cant have a storller or car seat in the movies???? All the other allen theater lets us, n when i asked her can i sit at handicap seat she said no because its for people who are handicap, well the funny thing is the people siting there where not handicap, then she tells me i have to set all the way to the wall with a car seat???? So if my daughter does cry i have to walk all over everyone because im in the conner, this theater has other problems since this lady has worked here, what kind of place treat mothers with babys like that it's not okay to not let mothers come there with there babies, this has to be fixed, the theater in roswell, alamogordo, all lovely dont treat us mothers bad at all, i really hope...
