Starbucks — Restaurant in Ruidoso

UPDATE : JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT COULDN’T GET WORSE!!! It can….

We ordered our usual which included a Pike Place & a rather unpleasant ‘Holly’ decided to lie, basically steal our money & make a completely different coffee out of LAZINESS claiming it was ‘basically the same thing….’ How embarrassing. Thanks ‘Holly’ for your complete dishonesty, trash customer service & he couldn’t even say sorry - if you’re looking to get scammed, this is the place for you. Isn’t it sad that young people can’t even make coffee right?

Stayed in Ruidoso for 3 days & not one of those days could this Starbucks get it together. Simple pike place tasted disgusting, they were constantly out of oat milk despite Albertsons being not but a few blocks down the road & the location is dirty. They close at 5, are usually packed when they are open because they're so slow, and rarely allow mobile order. The drinks are great if they manage to make it right. This guy with what sounds like a slight Germanic accent is a pain in the neck. He is not nice or informed or timely. He is, in fact, rude, confused and way too slow for drive-thru service. He has to take orders one item at a time and still cannot seem to figure out how to operate the computer. He doesn't enter the items properly and cannot give a total at the speaker. That fully explains why we cannot order from this Starbucks like any other fast food establishment. For the volume, we should have more than one store option here and that guy probably shouldn't work at either unless his job description excludes customer service entirely. I’ve came here my whole life, and never once have I had an issue, im from El Paso Texas and this is our second home so we’re here often, today about 5 minutes ago I stopped by for some coffee my sister ordered (6 drinks) and the person taking the order thought it was a good idea to say “ it would help if you say the size first” I will make sure none of us come back, that’s rude and if you don’t like your job you should quit. I despise leaving Ruidoso because this is home for me, and this experience before leaving Ruidoso truly is not necessary, I understand as a manager for Dunkin I understand but learn customer service.
