We had heard good things about this restaurant from our friends and decided to give it a try. As soon as we sat down I immediately commented about the questionable service. The host didn’t even greet us just said “two people?” And then walked over to a table, placed two menus and took the extra silverware without another word. He continued to be this unwelcoming/borderline rude throughout our meal. We ordered 2 appetizers, my husband had never tried anything like either of them at any restaurant before. He ended up not liking the shrimp cocktail and sent it back. I had the tomato bruschetta which was delicious. For our main meals we got the turkey wrap and the Alfredo with crab meat. My wrap was giant, packed full, and pretty good overall. My husband got the Alfredo which is a dish he commonly gets when we go out. The portion was giant and there was a good amount of crab in it. Unfortunately the sauce had virtually no flavor and he didn’t care for it. Our server was very sweet. She took my husbands food off our bill after noticing he wasn’t eating it. She made some cocktails for us that were also delicious. While waiting for a box for my wrap and a cheesecake to go, an older woman who I could only assume was the cook or owner came out and informed my husband he was no longer welcome at the establishment due to wasting $50 of food. She also accused him of “not knowing what he was ordering” which was not the case especially for the main meal. We offered to pay for all the food that was sent back but she continued to inform us we would not pay for the food but not to come back. Ironic because the food was not good enough for us to ever want to go back. I worked in food service at different restaurants/catering from the time I was 17-25. In that time I have NEVER seen any restaurant worker/owner be that rude and unprofessional to customers for simply not liking the food. The customer is always right. Our server was really the best part of our experience there and we were sure to tip her on what the bill would have been. I just hope she doesn’t have to share that money with...
Read moreAbsolutely phenomenal food and service! Our waiter sat us and quickly took our order while being very friendly and even talkative with my kids... which I really liked. Then we had our drinks so fast we had barely had time to look at the menu. The guy was very patient with us, as we had several questions about the menu having never been there before. One thing that really stood out to me was how he seemed to genuinely think the food there was "best in town", when a lot of times a waiter or waitress gives you the impression that they don't really like the food they serve if you ask for their opinion. This guy seemed to think very highly of the entire menu! & He was right!!!
Hands down the best lasagna I've ever had! You could literally taste the individual layers like I've never experienced. I had no idea lasagna could taste that way! And the portion sizes are great!!
The alfredo sauce they use on fettuccine was so good that my wife (who HATES fettuccine alfredo) ate half of my daughters left over plate and plans to order that when we return in the future.
I had a black and blue burger... (huge hand pattied burger with blue cheese crumbles) then I added bacon too it.... they can even do a burger the right way!
To put it simply... they have five star staff... and a magician in the kitchen!
I live in Hopkinsville, but I will travel to Russellville regularly just to go eat here... it's worth...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went to dinner here last night and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I am not one to leave a bad review but this time I am making an exception. We arrived about 5:50 and We were seated rather quickly. We were a little astonished by the high prices but just assumed the food must be amazing. We ordered baked Ziti and Chicken alfredo , no appetizer. The service was some what slow getting us drinks and bringing our salads but nothing unreasonable. After waiting about 45minutes for our dinner I very politely asked the first time how much longer our wait would be. I was told "You are the next ticket up". After waiting about an hour I asked once again and was told the same thing. We continued to wait. After being there almost an hour and a half I waved the manger over and asked very politely once again how long our wait would be. She said "You are the next ticket up". I asked "So like 5 minutes, because we have been waiting over an hour ?" She looked at me, noticing I am a young 20 something and said "WELL THIS ISN'T FAST FOOD". We got the check, no dinner, and very upset. Would...
