The Giving Plate — Restaurant in Russellville

I always enjoy The Giving Plate. The food is always awesome and the atmosphere is too. I always love going in and imagining what this little shack was before so much love was poured into it and now it is a quaint cafe filled with caring people who love the community and want to see only the best for their neighbors and friends and any customer who walks through the door. It is only open a few days a week but that gives the staff time to cater events and recharge their batteries. I love the staff and I love going in and getting some pastries before I start my weekend. What a great place to have here in Russellville! My girlfriend and I got a coffee and a matcha tea, they both were a solid 10/10! The cashier was friendly, the barista making the drinks asked us to try our drinks to be sure we liked them before we left, and as we made our way down the sidewalk the owner stuck his head out of the kitchen to thank us! We will definitely be regulars going forward and can't wait to try some food on...

We got the lox bagel among with a few other things. Everything was great, but there was a bone in the salmon bagel that caused my friend to get stabbed in the roof of the mouth and prompted profuse bleeding. I doubt this is a frequent occurrence, but just leaving this review so maybe they will see it and make sure no one else gets hurt :) Love the atmosphere and the people are great.
