Jean's Simple Treats & More — Restaurant in Russellville

Full Disclosure: My parents own Jean’s Simple Treats, and I want to be transparent about that upfront. That said, I genuinely believe this bakery offers a memorable experience worth sharing. Many of the pictures are from my personal orders or in-store purchases except the ones taken of the counter.

Jean’s Simple Treats is a family-owned bakery known for its welcoming atmosphere and personable service. Ordering is simple and efficient, and the team is committed to accommodating a wide variety of events—from birthdays and graduations to baby showers, retirement parties, holiday gatherings, and more.

Their ready made for walk-in menu features an impressive variety of treats, including cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, cake cups, and muffins. They also offer gluten-free, sugar-free, and keto-friendly options that have been well-received for both taste and quality. One standout item is the banana pudding, which consistently gets great feedback. Recently, they’ve started experimenting with ice cream—another exciting addition to their offerings. Their cupcake flavors rotate weekly, but some are consistently offered each week as “staples” from the community’s favorites!

They also look to participate in community events! One year they did paint the town green and gold which I included a video of. They even repainted the front counter and bought green and gold umbrellas for their patio just for that event. So cool.

While I do have a personal connection, I can sincerely say that I’ve enjoyed every item I’ve tried within my own taste preferences and have watched their dedication to their customers and community soar...

First of all, sorry if these pictures are gross BUT as you can tell….it was delicious 🤤 I don’t know what cheesecake my husband purchased but I’m pretty sure it was just the plain cheesecake. I do like mine with a bit more crust at the bottom but the flavor of the cheesecake made up for it and I loved that it wasn’t as dense as other ones. I’ve had the red velvet cupcake and my husband and kids have had the blueberry one and both were a hit. We’ve also had the salted caramel chocolate chip cookies and those were to die for. My family totally recommends Jean’s and will continue to support their business. Thank you...

Best cupcakes ever! I bought 6 cupcakes. All different ones. I tried the turtle first because I’m a chocoholic. It was the best! Then I tried the salted caramel and I thought it was the best lol! They are tied I think. I thought my great nieces would eat the others but they wanted cookies so unfortunately I refrigerated the other cupcakes (for myself 🤤🤤😆) and I have sampled 2 more. Chocolate strawberry…omgosh.. and chocolate 🤤🤤! Sooo, you can not go wrong with any of them! But I think the turtle and salted caramel are still the top...
