I was excited to try Tropical Smoothie Café for the first time and was enticed by the pictures of the wraps on their website that were stuffed full of yummy goodness. I placed my order directly through the website on my phone for delivery but did not realize it was actually going through Door Dash (if I had, I would have ordered through door dash since I had free delivery instead of paying an extra $3.99 for delivery). When my food was delivered, the wrap was very flat and thin, there was not much filling in it at all, it did not look anything like the website picture. My smoothie was missing, which I immediately responded to the door dash text with a copy of my receipt and stated my smoothie was missing. After a few minutes, I contacted the delivery driver per the notice on my receipt if anything was wrong with my order to contact the driver first. The driver said he would contact the restaurant and let me know. Did not hear back, when I tried to text him for a status update, the text would not go through. I contacted door dash support, who said because I placed my order through the restaurant I would have to contact them. When I contacted the restaurant they said because my order was delivered by Door Dash, it was the driver’s responsibility to verify the order received against the ticket and to contact Door Dash. Read moreWhile driving home from Memphis,(Only a 3.5 hour drive, but with a cranky teething toddler, that is a lifetime!) I put in a mobile order (I wanted my food done after this Long drive with my daughter). I closed out the order at 1205 on my phone. I showed up at 1215 exactly. My food hadn't been started. After around 10 min, they make my smoothies & start my food. One worker said sorry, glanced at my receipt, and started the meals. She then gave me THE WRONG FOOD! The manager (in the red shirt) looked at me from across the room, and had her get the food she handed me.(I TOUCHED THE INSIDE OF THIS FOOD!THEY DIDN'T THROW IT AWAY!) At least 4 people come into the store, got their order taken & their food before me. (doesn't count the drive through) The worker handed me my food, w/o saying anything, and walked off. (& I saw the manager apologize to someone who went through the drive through and came back in because she was missing two sandwiches and a side. "I am so sorry about that ma'am. I sincerely apologize."He never even SPOKE TO ME!) The worst customer service I have EVER witnessed. I've been to little Cesars, and they were 10 min late on the quote I was given for my to go order, so THE MANAGER apologized and gave me free cheesy bread and soda. Not saying I deserve anything free, but I spent 25$ on a meal and an experience that was to worst I have EVER had! I couldn't even get acknowledged by the manager) Oh, and in case you're curious, I finally got my food at 1245....

I ordered my usual with double whey to my surprise no whey😩 Walked in and kindly explained I requested double whey, when “Liz” jumps in and interrupts “Caleb” (who took my order) and says “we don’t have whey or pea protein” Caleb jumps in and apologizes saying he thought he heard “no protein” instead of “double” he immediately starts making me another smoothie while Liz heads to the back all awkwardly. Like really Liz? Really? Why you gotta be lying? Ugh! Everyone makes mistakes why can’t you just own up to it and go on with your life. Caleb, thank you for remaking my smoothie, Liz can learn a thing or two 😉
