Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Ruston

Had by far the rudest interaction with the person taking our order. After being told it was drive-thru only, the entire time we were placing our order the cashier’s tone seemed as though she didn’t want to be bothered and was very annoyed at the fact that we had the audacity to keep ordering. After pulling around we could hear music blaring from inside, I work in the food industry and understand the need/want to listen to something while working but at the level it was being played it was unprofessional at best and a distraction at worst. We sat at the window for over 5 minutes before someone even took our payment, at this time carhops were taking food to cars which makes me doubt the “drive-thru only”. After being given our food and checking the bag, we were missing a food item and had to come back to grab it. I would give this entire experience a negative star but unfortunately that is not possible, sonic ownership, Please evaluate your staff and do something about this. This is completely unacceptable and...

I'm not sure where to start exactly here. The first visit 2 days ago...the outside parking order thing several of them I guess didn't work or they just didn't feel like working. So chose the drive through instead. The employees wasn't terrible but not good. Tonight (drive through) while trying to order our food the lady kept rushing us and basically asking 2 seconds "are you done now" basically after and sometime in the middle of ordering our food. Which wasn't much. Very rude and impatient and I guess nobody felt like working there today. None of our order was correct and some was missing. Ordered a diet cherry limeade and asked for extra cherries limes and add lemons. We didn't get any of those at all in our drinks...and to me that's what makes a cherry limeade. So I let the woman know and she gave us a tiny cup of limes and cherries. Again no lemons lol. By this time I was so frustrated with them I said heck it and went on. Seems to me they need training or a refresh...

After having a bad experience with chic Fila we decided to go by sonic. The chicken basket my husband ordered was cold and looked more like 3 chicken fries (not strips). The fries were so cold and hard, my eat anything pit bulls wouldn’t even touch them. The bread was just a piece of white Texas toast bread with a very small amount of butter on one side that had not been toasted at all. It did have a little texture just from being stale. And my husband is a white gravy fanatic. So he said just hand me the gravy I will make it work. It was ice cold, half empty and parts of it were brown. It was So thickI and dried out and lumpy as cottage cheese. So we tried to add some water to thin it out and it didn’t work. I will say that the employees were very sweet.
