The Meltdown — Restaurant in Rutland Town

So I got it via DoorDash. The menu looked and was described deliciously. The order details did not allow any additions or substitutions not even to request for condiments. There was a comment area which showed (may be fees for items) which I would not have minded but at least acknowledge my comment. I got the “hot mess combo”. And I asked for tomato, dill pickle, mayo and ketchup on the side. It comes it’s fries and a drink (lemonade). The delivery was timely. The food disgusting! All over salted, so thankfully salt that I asked for and did not get, was not needed but neither were the other items I asked for. Not only did I not get them; but no acknowledgment of them either. Additionally didn't need them because I couldn’t force myself to eat this debacle labeled as “food”. I have never used any food delivery service, this was my first time. I was desperate and in a hotel with food not near by. Usually when desperate food can taste better, but not this dish. Seems to come off as an old meat that is microwave defrosted, put in a toaster oven “mess”. Never would try any other option. I can’t understand how they are still in business. We were sat at least 5 minutes before another table and our server went to them first. We ordered two different chicken melts and the kitchen made two of the same sandwiches so we had to wait for them to fix it. One of the sandwiches was supposed to have onion rings but they both came with fries. After waiting 40 minutes for our sandwiches, we did not send it back to be fixed. Was unaware that Denny's in Rutland is somewhere called The Meltdown. The service was terrific - polite and attentive. The atmosphere was ok. The food was not as good as I'd hoped. We got the brisket and mac n' cheese and the brisket sandwich. The Mac n cheese tasted like flour and the brisket was mushy as though it had more fat than appeared.
