This place seems to have really gone downhill. We've been coming here from time to time for 3 years, but tonight when we came for my sister's birthday, the whole experience was terrible. If you have Hibachi, you have the option to have either fried rice, steamed rice, or noodles. When ordering, my brother-in-law and sister ordered a hibachi meal with double fried rice instead of/no veggies; no problem. But when I ordered my Hibachi, I wanted double noodles instead of veggies/no veggies at all and my sister-in-law wanted the same but with steamed rice, and our server flat out said no, that we couldn't do that and that it automatically came with veggies and we couldn't substitute it with double noodles/steamed rice. So someone can order Hibachi with double fried rice as a substitute for no veggies, but they can't do that with steamed rice or noodles? That makes zero sense! And even though she was smiling the whole time, you could tell her demeanor was very smug. And then when our chef came to our table to cook our food, we made some friendly chitchat with him and asked how long he has been doing Hibachi cooking. He said 2 days and he straight up admitted to us that he didn't like his job and didn't want to be there. He also cooked our food very quickly and left the table like he was rushing to be out of there, he didn't put on a performance for us or nothing, very obvious that we were inconveniencing him; fastest hibachi service I've ever had in my life for the wrong reasons. Our food tonight was also not too great, it was so dry and stale tasting. We were so appalled that our meal, plus an automatic $43 tip, the ticket was almost $300! After that appalling experience with the combination of the sky high prices now on their menu, it's no wonder why there was hardly anybody dining in the place, especially at 5 p.m. in the evening. If this place is being run like this now, they're gonna end up putting themselves out of business. I don't know if this place brought in new management or if they had an ownership change, but we will not be coming back here ever again. Better off eating at Arby's for our...

Before we arrived I called to make sure they weren't super busy and we could get seated, they originally said if I was there before or at 630 we could get a table at the hibachi otherwise it would be an extremely long wait (did eventually specify there was a large party coming in) anyway, we arrived later than 630 but were fine to be seated in the dine in. Service was fantastic until it came to our food. I ordered 2 combination chicken and steak, one medium and one medium rare for my boyfriend, he didn't know what he wanted lol. The food arrives and it was 3 plates instead of 2 and they kept switching his out with one that very much wasn't his and settled on one and without hesitation he began eating. Not long after the waitresses behind us at the register proceeded to literally start screaming at one another, I of course being nosey listen and they were mad about the order coming to the wrong table and gesture to us. Which I quickly look at my boyfriends plate and realize that the chicken was missing from the plate. They were fighting about the food being sent to the wrong table. I could get my mind past that until they proceeded to "check on us" while eyeballing my boyfriends plate. Instead of asking about it, they were acting very unprofessional, eventually one of the servers who was not our original waitresses came by to get the information about what he originally ordered and realized it wasn't our order. She said they would fix the mistake in the computer which wasn't done, which isn't an issue. My main problem is the management, owner or whoever needs to learn to respect her wait staff that was extremely unprofessional and I couldn't have been the only person to witness and as we were leaving the same manager proceeded to seat a larger party ahead of a smaller party who had been waiting longer. Im assuming due to them generating more revenue. We quickly realized we would not be going back. The food was decent, not at all what we requested the steak to be cooked at, it was all well done and over cooked. It was disappointing since we went for a nice dinner for...

The food at Osaka was ok but it was seasoned to perfection, and most of the staff were very nice, but I had a few observations I'd like to share in the hope that it gets to the right people so they can improve on these mostly minor issues.

Nowhere to stand while waiting for your table. Literally smashed together in a tiny hallway with nowhere to turn to, but this happens in a lot of restaurants. We also had a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated, but I know hibachi is a balancing act.

Sticky feel on all seats, including the baby chair. Everything needs to be wiped down daily, especially in this day and age. I asked for something to wipe it off with and someone who eas working thrte proceeded to hand me a dirty dish rag and didn't ever offer to fo it for me! Maybe it's due to them cooking or something bc the walls, chairs and floor feel the same way.

Our hibachi chef was ok, but he really didn't interact with us very much. It's very different at the other hibachi restaurant across town. They make it a point to involve us!

We ordered lo mein for our daughter, and it appeared to be a package of Ramen noodles. Not traditional lo mein noodles or even normal Ramen. I looked up their menu, and it appears they don't offer lo mein. So that should have been mentioned to us by our server when we ordered lo mein. Very disappointing.

It looked like the food was being extremely portioned, and most places do that, but not to that extent. We received half of the amount of food we've experienced at other hibachi type restaurants. It was very...

The family had lost two of their cubs to a church retreat so we decided to take the little monkey to a Hibachi experience. Mind you he is four and his five star meal is a Happy Meal plus the last time me and my wife ate there, the customer service was horrible since the moment we stepped in the establishment. Due to the price and prior experience, I didn't want to go, but why not? My little rhino might like it. We walked in and the yound lady was very nice and seated us at the grill. Our server arrived quickly and took our drink orders while providing us with the opportunity to order appetizers. We quickly we knew the little monkey was NOT entertained with the clinging and fire all over. Wife ordered dragon roll and chicken hibachi. I took the steak and chicken hibachi and monkey took the culinary route of chicken nuggets. I was ready for the show and had my credit card credit increased just incase. We were served salad and soup (warm). The roll arrived first then the show. The young man did the cling and clang on the grill. He did the sake volcano and threw broccoli at us like seals at Sea World. At this point, monkey was traumatized by all the fire, we were happy he stayed glued to the iPad. The rolls we ordered as appetizers were good but small. The Hibachi was warm and really no seasoning that made the meal stand out. Well the nuggest must have been brought in from France because monkey ate them up. This was a $105 meal for 3 and water. It's ok to have and happy the bad attitude wasn't there anymore. If you want the show and know the price, go enjoy.

I really wanted to like this place, me and my husband ordered chicken ramen and miso spicy ramen but we’re not please with the flavor. We attempted to see if we could trade it out for something different but the kitchen was closed. So, in an attempt to keep everyone from walking away loosing I offered to pay half of one bowl giving that I wasn’t taking any of their products with me to go. The manager Julie was initially only willing to do half off on both bowls and when we spoke with her she took me saying I didn’t like the ramen as a personal insult as she started to state that she had been open for 7 years and never had that issue. She also stated that the people in this area usually still pay and take their food to go if they are not satisfied, as if that had any relevance to the fact that I was paying for a product I didn’t eat nor take to go with me. She over talked me while I was trying to explain how although they are loosing product it has nothing to do with the fact that the customer is paying for a product they didn’t eat, like or take. I am very dissatisfied with how Julie the owner and manager treated us without being understanding. I am pregnant and left empty handed and still paid for it. She then tells me I don’t need to come back and I can go somewhere else to get food. I am very unproblematic but there seemed to be no solutions provided and me as a customer had to give the owner a solution that would satisfy both of us because had I not, she would have charged us full price. The attachments below show the food we didn’t eat and paid for.

12/02/24: First visit. My wife and I decided to try this place out. The restaurant is very nice and spacious. There were grill areas for large and small parties. There was also an area with tables and a bar area. The restaurant was very clean. It was pretty busy when we arrived, and we were seated in a hibachi area for a party of eight. There were two other families in our area, and we had a good time. The food was great, and the cook was fun. The fried rice was really good, and everything else was cooked to perfection. The draft Japanese beer was good and cold, and the blueberry Mule was good. Easy to find and plenty of parking outside. We will definitely return! 2/25/25: Party of four. We went for theHibachi Lunch, since their menu stated that lunch was Mon-Fri from 11am-2:30pm. We were advised when we entered that the hibachi tables shut down at 1:30pm. We arrived at 1:39pm. She told us that we could sit in the dining room and order from the lunch menu, to include the Hibachi Lunch. We were disappointed, since two in our party were celebrating birthdays and were from out of state. Although we wanted them to experience actual hibachi dining, we decided to stay and have lunch. Alexis was our hostess, and she was great. Each of us ordered from the Hibachi Lunch menu. She brought the soups and salads out first, and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. Everyone was pleased with their order. It wasn't very busy, and the service was great. Although we didn't get the full hibachi experience, we had a good time!
