Cafe 33 — Restaurant in Sacramento

This cafe popped up when searching for breakfast places near me. Everything on their menu looked really good and they had a lot to choose from. I went with the jumbo house turkey croissant and a cherry turnover online. A lady called a few mins later to let me know they didn't have any cherry turnovers and I asked for ANY turnover, or a danish of some sort, all of which they still didn't have. She offered to give me a cookie and brownie which neither do I care for but said yes anyways. When I arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was too busy to help me, but then I noticed my food sitting and waiting off to the side. There's no signs saying "togo" or "pick up ". I tried asking him if they sold out of all the pastries that day already (it was only 8am Friday) or if they just didn't make them that day. He responded that they just didn't make them that day. I asked if there was a day they focused on making them more for, like a Saturday and Sunday since they consider themselves a brunch place, and he seemed confused by that question and just told me he didn't work there every day and didn't know. The croissant was very good and still crispy at least. It just really seems like they put more items on their menu than they actually offer. Since I can't guarantee that they will have the items they offer on their menu when ordering online, it is unlikely I will return or refer this business in the near future. Pros

1. parking is small, but we got parking right away.
2. restaurant looked cleaned. Except for a few tables I saw had dirty dishes on it. Eventually, a staff cleaned it.
3. there were games on the shelf you can play while waiting or just to bond. Glad they had games.
4. water is on the shelf to get at your pleasure. Napkins on the counter.
5. menu is on the wall. Order at the cashier.
6. they bring you your foods. Our sandwiches were all good. You get a choice of chips or coleslaw. Pepperoni pizza pastry was good.
7. one of the staff brought out these little tiny biscoff cheesecake samples. It was so good! I can taste the buscoff and the cheesecake was soft and perfect.

Cons

1. the pictures of the professional sandwich photos on Yelp looks much larger and fuller than the actual thing. FYI. When we got our sandwiches, we were disappointed how small it was. ;)
2. there were no greetings when we walked in.
