I really do hate to leave a bad review for McDonald's because I have been a general manager at what so I know how things go. Unfortunately I also know how food should come out as well and I literally just went through the drive-thru and was handed and ice cold old pie. They told me that they didn't know if I they had any and then after about 5 minutes of looking they handed me one and said have a nice day miss and shut the door real quick. I knew the pie was cold immediately because the box was cold, so that means that the pie sat out too long after being cooked and just sat there and was never boxed they probably just scooped it up off of a tray in the back and it's probably been sitting there for about 15 minutes or so. That I know is not how it I should go out. I should have been told that they don't have any and if I wanted cookies and stuff because I told him I would gladly take cookies if they did not have any. It just frustrates me because no matter how short staff you are or if you're training or anything the quality of food hand it out should not be affected. Food sitting out too long especially should not go out. I think I've learned my lesson and that is to not get pies at this location because unfortunately this is the third pie in 6 months that has been icicle when I got it. So whatever manager recess please just train your grill people better to make sure that they are boxing up pies within 3 to 5 minutes of them pulled out of the oven and yes you can box a hot pie because I did it for years and I trained employees to do that for years. I placed an online and For some reason it got sent to this location since i was already on my way to work i couldnt go back to this location. The money was taken from my account and i went back to the app tried to cancel the order and i didnt know how. I called this location a lady answerd and she was rude and said she dnt had the order there, eventho i was providing the order number, she said she cant cancel and that i had to do that on my own, she hunged up the phone on me, i called back a manager named Gloria answerd and i tryed to tell her the samething and she said she wasnt allowed to cancel the order that she never recived my order and to cancel it on my app and i asked her how, she said to call the 1800 i asked her for the # she said she dnt knw the # and that she couldnt help me i was like well if the manager cant help me then who. I decided to leave it alone and whatever it was just a frap coffe and a hashbrown. I went to my regular Mcdonals on Mack rd i tlkd to the cashier on Dt and told her what happened and she said OH "sorry to hear that and dnt worry if you dont pick up ur order the money will be refounded. I was like a simple answer was so helpful so it took 1 cashier to tell me the Right answer instead of giving me the walk around from the managers at the Florin location. Went their for the first time to see for myself what the whole commotion was about this Mcdonalds taking forever to give or take out its orders. I'm not a fan of fast food but I know for a fact that Mcdonalds is well known for its fast service. So the day finally came. I went in on a Thursday morning and all I was going to order was a coffee. I had to wait close to 30 minutes to get my order taken because the cashier was I don't know where. So for starters they should have more than one cashier at the registers at any given time. So my order was finally taken and I waited an additional 15 minutes to receive my coffee and I had asked for cream and sugar on the side, well miraculously they forgot. Since I knew this Mcdonalds is not the brightest I right away checked my coffee to make sure they hadn't given it to me because they had maybe put it inside. So I had to wait 5 minutes to ask for a stirrer, some napkins and my cream and sugar. Well overall the reviews are correct this Mcdonalds ironically the worst at fast food service. If you are in a hurry take the extra time to drive further down the road to the next Mcdonalds. Management needs improvement that way employees can improve as well.!
