Naan Twist Indian Food — Restaurant in Sacramento

We recently ordered a pizza from Naan Twist 30 minutes before arriving to pick it up. Over the phone, we were told it would take 15-20 minutes to be ready. However, upon arriving 30 minutes later, we still had to wait another 30+ minutes to get our order. The staff mentioned it was busy, but the pizza we received wasn’t fresh or hot, which left us wondering why there was such a long wait if the pizza had already been cooked.

That said, the pizza itself was delicious as always—we absolutely love the taste and quality! However, the waiting time and lack of clarity were disappointing. It seemed like they might have been short-staffed, which could explain the delay. While we’ll continue to enjoy their amazing flavors, we do hope they improve their process to better...

I was a regular customer, but a couple of the employees here are so stupid and unhelpful, and reminded me of that again today. How hard is it to upgrade my naan to garlic naan? Most of the employees can do it, but these two young ladies don't know what they're doing, and seem like they don't want to work there. After 10 minutes trying to enter my order on the computer they decided they had to charge me for 2 naans, just so I could get 1 with garlic. I finally cancelled the order and got dinner somewhere else, just so frustrating dealing with people like that. Not coming back.

I visited this place for lunch and ordered soya tikka biryani and a paan smoothie. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience, mainly due to poor hygiene.

The staff member at the counter was handling food with bare hands, touching her hair and face, and even used the trash bin without washing her hands before packing more food. No gloves were used at any point, which is very concerning for a restaurant.

The biryani portion was okay, but the taste wasn’t authentic and I ordered it spicy but it was mild. The paan smoothie had a very light paan flavor — it needs improvement.

Hygiene should be a top priority in any food business. I hope the management takes this seriously and trains staff to follow proper food...
