Pizza House — Restaurant in Sacramento

I think I'm being nice giving it two stars. I went in on Fri Aug 19 at around 12 25 pm. We ordered 1 cheese pizza. That's it. Nothing else. No sides, No drinks. They said ok. Didn't give us a estimate around what time it would be ready but that's fine. It's 1 cheese pizza how long would it take. We waited 20 mins. I asked the boy in the front how long. He said let me check. Came back said only 5 more mins. I said ok. Ten minutes passed after. Went and asked again. They said it's in the oven . Then asked around ten minutes later and they said it's in the oven. Finally after 40 MINUTES we got our 1 CHEESE PIZZA. Like cmon u don't have to lie saying 5 minutes or ten minutes every time. Pizza is decent but I wouldn't recommend it because they take forever. I had to go somewhere at 1 30 and I got out of the pizza store at around 1 07. Didn't even get to eat my pizza. I had to come back after and eat it. VERY DISSAPOINTED. THIS HAPPENED TO 4 OTHER PEOPLE IN THE PIZZA PLACE. I'M not trying to be the person to bring a business down but this...

This place used to be a great place for hot fresh pizza. However, within the past few weeks, first I noticed that they had increased their prices, significantly. Which is not the problem, the problem is they still have their "old" prices online and I feel like any reputable business would be diligent on updating everything that revolves around their pricing and current changes. Secondly, this is the saddest thing. They have absolutely changed their recipe. I feel like it's either the dough, or sauce or even both. I just got my usual this evening and.. it had zero elevated flavors. It was all just one bland flavor. Even the meats were so bland and looked way different than the way my pizza usually comes. I've been going here for the better part of 15 years. And sadly, I don't think I will be continuing to be a customer any longer. I'll miss the original...

Just move to Sac from the East Coast. Was really excited to try out local pizza since this was my first time. Decided to give this place a try based on the reviews they had and let’s just say theres some work that needs to be done. I walked in and asked for a menu and the employee just pointed at the screen without saying anything and allowed me to walk out. Still decided to proceed and order through online. Wait time was 45 mins for a medium pizza and wings. As I walked in to pick up my order, the young lady at the register was very polite but couldn’t find my order.
