First time visiting Qisa Coffee, and it was a memorable experience. I initially found them on Instagram, where I came across an inspiring interview with the owner on a news network. He shared his journey and background, detailing how he built the place, which brought authenticity to his story and sparked my interest in checking it out. Supporting small businesses and hardworking people who are living the American dream is important to me, and Qisa Coffee definitely fits that bill. I ordered the karak tea along with a slice of cheesecake. Both were outstanding! The tea had a unique, flavorful taste that felt authentically Mediterranean, though individual tastes may vary, of course. The cheesecake was equally delightful, perfectly pairing with the tea. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a few students sipping drinks and working on their computers, adding to a relaxed vibe. The entire place was spotless, which was impressive. Parking was available on the street, though I didn’t notice any reserved spots specifically for the coffee shop. Overall, Qisa Coffee is a fantastic spot, and I’m looking forward to returning the next time I’m in Sacramento. This is exactly the type of local business worth supporting. Five stars all around!

While I would consider coming here again for the nice seating, atmosphere, and kind staff, the high priced food and drink left little to be desired. $7 for the ube matcha is sadly the new standard for Sacramento cafes and it tasted fine, but had a weird hint of banana and little ube. I was hoping to come back to try the flight, but if the ube is any indicator I doubt the flavors differ much. The "wet" cake on the other hand was incredibly, almost criminally dry considering it was also $7!! The price of the cake wasn't even listed, but $7 for the driest box mix cake? Hard pass. Whole Foods makes a moist pistachio cake that is leagues better for a fraction of the cost per slice. And I'm not one to usually scoff at high priced, trendy coffee/food but it has to at least meet expectations. I only finished maybe ⅓ of each item before deciding I didn't want more. I do think you should give it a try if you want the trendy experience, as everyone's tastes are different and maybe it's just not for me, but I've had better experimental lattes and foods for the same price or cheaper at other cafes (ex: Season's ube latte). I'll consider $18 the cost of learning it's not for me 👍

I was told about Qisa a few weeks ago. It's a very unique coffee house that serves Yemeni inspired coffee. You can also get an old favorite of mine, Turkish coffee. We had an iced Turkish coffee and it was perfect. The chai was definitely a cut above and not your run of the mill yeah we server it Chai. It was artisanal quality.... They offer deli style foods such as chicken rolls and cheese layers. Top it off with some baklava and you're set.... As a bonus they have usb and usbc power outlets. In a time where coffee houses are blocking off power ports this is a nice touch. Give them a shot and I guarantee they'll be high on your list to return to.....

recently visited Brewed Awakening, and I must say, it’s a delightful addition to the neighborhood! From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped me, setting the stage for a perfect café experience.

The ambiance strikes a fantastic balance between cozy and modern, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that makes it ideal for both work and relaxation. The decor is thoughtfully curated, featuring local art that adds a personal touch to the space.

Now, let’s talk about the coffee! Brewed Awakening sources its beans from sustainable farms, and you can taste the quality in every sip. I tried their signature espresso, which was rich and perfectly balanced, with notes of caramel and chocolate. They also offer an impressive selection of pour-over options and specialty drinks that cater to all tastes—my friend raved about the lavender latte!

The baristas are not only skilled but also genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. They’re eager to help you find the perfect brew or recommend a pastry to pair with your coffee. Speaking of pastries, the selection is divine—freshly baked croissants and mouthwatering muffins that complement the coffee beautifully.

Overall, Brewed Awakening is a must-visit for coffee lovers and anyone looking for a welcoming spot to unwind. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu!...

I recently visited Qisa Coffee, and while they're still in the process of training staff and stocking up for their full opening, I was thoroughly impressed by the experience.

The pistachio iced latte was a standout--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The rose latte offered a unique and intriguing flavor that I found quite delightful.

The beans they have here are some of the best! Lots of good competition in Sacramento for good coffee roasters and supplies, top notch stuff here, if you know you know!

One of the highlights was definitely the Qisa Karak tea experience. It's a must-try for anyone who appreciates a good tea with a rich, spiced flavor. The ambiance of Qisa Coffee is another strong point. The vibe is cozy and inviting, with a welcoming interior that makes you want to stay and relax for a while.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and it's clear that they're dedicated to providing great service, even during this initial phase. I was particularly impressed by how involved the owner is in the day-to-day operations. It's always great to see a business where the owner is hands-on and truly cares about the customer experience.

Overall, Qisa Coffee is off to a fantastic start, and I can't wait to see how they continue to develop as they get fully up and running. Highly recommend...
