I really enjoyed my meal here today for many reasons. I had previewed their menu before my visit and was happy to see they had Kao Mun Gai. I was looking forward to that and the Seafood noodle soup. When I tried to order the waitress advised me they were out of Kao Mun Gai. I mentioned to her all I was looking forward to was the rice which it comes with. I don't really eat Chicken, but I love the rice which is associated with the dish. She offered to make a grilled chicken over the rice which comes with Kao Mun Gai. I asked if I could just get the rice and order the seafood soup dish. Due to a language barrier, I kinda felt she I was confusing her and hoped for the best. My ordered arrived and much to my delight, I got a plate of the rice from Kao Mun Gai and the soup. The soup was better than I expected and the rice was great and they topped it with some cilantro. Extra plus as they just charged me $3 for the plate of rice...soup portion size was on the smaller end of the scale, but it was still great tasting and filling. I was out of there for $20 including tip. Would visit again which is something of a rarity for me these days, dining around...

So this is my first time trying this place, but my co-worker eats there once a week at least and offered to bring me some panang today when he picked up his. Yasssss hunty! I love me some panang so it was a no brainer for me. A couple of important things to note: 1) the panang has a kick to it. I'm a person that is a wimp but likes spicy anyway even though it makes me sweat a little. This was the perfect amount of spice for me! Enough to clear my sinuses but not so much that I was crying in pain. 2) I can be somewhat picky about veggies, and sometimes Thai restaurants use weird ones that I don't care for in curries. The panang just had chicken, potatoes, and a couple red bell peppers + Thai basil. Perfect for me! I love all those things! They do offer a veggie-only one, which I would imagine would make this vegetarian (probably vegan actually, as long as they don't use some sort of meat stock and/or dairy milk in it, but I believe it's coconut milk). Can't wait to try some of their other menu items! Will...

I ordered food to go. Decided to try this place due to the reviews. It made it look promising. I got the green curry, my husband got the pad see eew. We also got the crispy shrimp roll appetizer. Total came out to be about ~$45. I won’t be coming back. My curry was all liquid, barely veggies and two pieces of chicken. I got plenty of rice tho… took a piece and it was under cooked. SMH. The crispy shrimp rolls look promising but my hopes are very low. My husband said the pad see eew was very dry and plain, barely no taste. I had to try it my self and sure enough it was tasteless. He needed to add more soy sauce for him to even touch it.

This place has some amazing Thai food! It's a cute little neighborhood place with very personal and friendly service. We found it on our way back into town by searching online and decided to give it a try. Our group of 7 got right in, ordered, and our food came out freshly prepared from the kitchen quickly. While we were there, I noticed a good stream of people getting food to go, so it seems popular with the locals. Everyone's food and drinks were delicious. Some highlights were the Green Curry Chicken and Thai Iced Tea. It's a great place for a couple or reasonable sized group. We're looking forward to coming back soon!
