My girlfriend was getting her nails done nearby and I noticed this place. It looked interesting and I love Pizza so I came in to give it a try. I love the interior, it brings me back to my childhood. It isn’t dated, more like a call back to a simpler time when you would go out and eat with your family as a kid. I ordered the 1-topping pizza with Pepperoni. The total came out to be about $18 - BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT! Here’s the details: 1. Crust is crispy and delicious. Flavorful and tastes home made. 2. Pepperoni had a good spice to it, and wasn’t overly greasy. 3. The cheese pull was amazing, and there is a lot of it but I love cheese. Any 90s kids who remember the cheese of 90s cartoons pizza needs to come here. This is the goofy movie pizza you’ve dreamed of. 4. The red sauce is fantastic. A bit tart, and not overly sweet like chain restaurants. This is an actual SAUCE - it makes a huge difference. Here’s the only reason why I knocked it down a star. I’d give 4.5 if I could: Customer Service Maybe it was because I was one dude getting a pizza for myself, or that there were bigger groups to serve but the service felt cold. I could see the server having good conversations with other customers but he seemed to give me the cold shoulder. I’m not sure what it is. He seemed like a nice guy. Maybe it’s just me. Other than that the location was clean, nostalgic, and the vibes were good. Great place for the family. This is the best pizza I’ve had in sac. Better than Luigis, better than old world, better than Zelda’s, and FAR better than any chain you’ve been too. Update, 5/18/23: This is my second time here and this is now my favorite pizza place in Sacramento! Everything has such a unique and REAL taste to it. I’m not sure what they do with the dough but it is so flavorful. I ordered the Margarita and Spring Lamb Pizza. Both were delicious, the Spring Lamb bring a standout dish. Compared to last time, service was much much better. Very friendly, helpful, and warm. My server was welcoming and kind. I’ll be coming here often!

It’s a Saturday evening (11/4) and the family is hungry. This place is near our area and thought we’d give it a try. The restaurant is located in a weird spot and parking is a bit limited in the front and in the back shared by several businesses. We got lucky and grabbed one of the last parking spots when we arrived which was around 6pm or so. We were able to get a table no problem for a party of 7. The place and atmosphere is inviting and cozy a 5/5. Our server was great. Friendly, polite, and not overwhelming. We didn’t have to wait too long to get our food after placing our order, maybe within 15 minutes or so. So service is a definite 5/5. The food presentation is as good as any pizzas I’ve seen in other places so a 5/5. The pizza is heavier on the bread side though as others have said. I personally prefer my pizzas to have less bread and more toppings but it’s a personal preference. The taste was good for a local eatery here. Not over seasoned or over done either. Definitely enjoyable. Even though the taste did not disappoint, I’ve personally had much tastier pizzas elsewhere so I’d give the food a 4/5. It's a different experience. We probably spent about $175 for the evening that included salad, beer, pizzas, and cannoli. Value to price ratio is about a 4/5 for a pizza dinner. Overall impression is a 4.5/5. Definitely recommend folks to give this place a try. It’s good food. The place gives out a good vibe, warmer feel, higher quality experience than your traditional Mountain Mikes or Round Table Pizza. Would definitely return. Find this review helpful? Give it a thumbs up below.

I got the margarita pizza from Roma‘s and I had LOVED IT! After ordering a large one night to have pizza and wine with some friends, I went back the very next night and got the exact same pizza again! Everything was so fresh. The woman at the restaurant told me she picks out the tomatoes from the farmers market every morning, and it definitely tasted that way! The basil was incredible the bread was light and fluffy, it felt like a REAL pizza that came out of somebody’s kitchen rather than something you would settle for after getting the drunchies. I asked to add marinara sauce on mine because I am a person who loves sauce, and loves tomatoes. I couldn’t have been happier with this experience, the large cost $31 so while dominos may to two for $5.99 the truth is you get the quality you pay for and this is worth every penny. If you were looking for an incredible pizza, one that’s actually worth remembering and talking about, look no further you have to try this place!

This is my first time trying Romas pizza since 2001. We got the large Giuseppe, which is their specialty and pretty much had everything on it. Only complaint was the majority of toppings was in the center, making it soggy in the middle. When I went to pick up a slice, it drooped like a wet noodle and the toppings fell off the pizza. Would be much improved, if it was distributed more evenly. Also, the crust was a little on the hard side but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that or not. Other than that I have no complaints. It's a huge pizza and was very delicious. I was surprised by the mountain of toppings too, oh my! It also had that perfect hint of spice from the italian sausage, which I love. Just two slices had me feeling pretty full. It even tasted better next day for breakfast haha! I definitely would recommend and if you haven't tried them, you're in for a treat.

First time. Definitely enjoyed the food it was delicious, aside that the crust/thickness of the the bread was a bit much for my preference; the crust itself was great (some sort of seasoning) not just plain. As you can see from the picture they are definitely not stingy on the toping so that's a plus. We asked for the half pesto (add on was chicken and tomatoes; it's our preference taste get over it) and the other half house special. The wait time was not bad. The server was very kind and respectful. Gave us the rundown on the menu. The price is perfect for the pizza size. Honestly do see myself going back for there delicious pizza maybe try there pasta.

Pizza was good, and I enjoyed it. Although, it was too hot and the cheese just kept coming off every single one of our slices. The cheese finally stopped coming off after the pizza was just warm and not hot. The penny pesto was very good. I very much enjoyed that plate. Service was just three stars since the lady did not come to us after we got all our food. She came when we basically finished the meal, and because of that I didn't want a refill in my water anymore. I had to savor all I had during the whole meal. It was busy so I will admit that. Due to that I did not tip since all she did was bring out our food.
