Big fan of this spot. Dined here a few times, but the first time was on Mother's Day weekend with L.O. and husband.

Yuna, great waitress! Super sweet and on point with checking in, making sure water's were filled at all times. She was awesome and chatted with baby boy. He gave her big smiles!!! That said, all employees are wonderful and all helpful. They greet you upon walking in, love it.

Food and meat selections are top-notch. The wagyu and non-marinated LA galbi were tender and well balanced between sweet and savory. My favorites were the big and small intestines, pork jowls, and big pork belly. Husband loves marinated meats. Brisket and wagyu are baby's 😍 favorite along with the seaweed soup. They have ban chans at the cold food bar, where you serve yourself on the traditional Korean school lunch trays. I appreciate this because you get only what you want. It's a pity to waste ban chans that are brought automatically and won't be touched. The cold bar lets you pick what you will consume.

In my opinion, bathrooms are a reflection of how one keeps the rest of their house. Uh, the bathroom, literally sparkling and clean. Enough said!!

They have a rewards/point system you can join via mobile, do it. Our first visit's points got us a few dollars off for next time. It's not a lot, but I definitely appreciated being rewarded for our patronage at their restaurant.

We have been here on off-peak hours, so we have not had to wait. Service has always been quick. If you're thinking about k-bbq, go here. Everything about it is better, it's not greasy, it's fresh, bright and airy. Most k-bbq places are painted with dark colors/black, no natural lighting, and are musty. This place is open, fresh, and welcoming. Ambiance...

Friday, 3/03/2023 - Finally got to try Bullta Korean BBQ. Address is 8353 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95826. This restaurant is located in a plaza where you'll see 99 Cent & More store, Raley's store, and other restaurants and small businesses. When we arrived, they were busy. They don't do reservations for small parties. We had a party of 5 and no reservations could be made. But, when we arrived, the wait wasn't long for a table. We waited like maybe 10 to 15 minutes only. Upon arrival:

Pros:

  1. plenty of parking. It was easy for us to find parking.
  2. the hostess was so nice. She explained how it worked there. There were different sections in the menu to choose from.
  3. our server was very nice. She checked on us several times.
  4. water tasted great. No funky or metal taste.
  5. plates and cups were stainless steal, I believe. All very clean. Utensils were clean.
  6. their side food dishes are set up buffet style towards the back. Lots of sides to pick from. I liked everything I got.
  7. we picked the Bullta "Family Course ". It's $35.95 per person and kids 10 and under are $21.95. This was plenty of food for us.
  8. they had items to make S'mores. My little one was so excited for it.
  9. their bathroom was pretty cool too. It was all bling bling looking. It was very clean.

Cons: No cons

Conclusion: I liked this restaurant. It was nice. Wait wasn't long when we arrived. Staff/servers were nice. Foods tasted great. Side dishes were plenty and tasted good. Bathroom clean. As we were walking out, the hostess even came to say good-bye to us and made sure we...

KEEP READING FOR THE SMORES HACK. If you’re looking for a Korean BBQ place that will get you in quickly and has good quality food and meats, look no further. Called in at 5:15pm to see if there was room for a table for 4 AYCE, and they said, no wait, come on over.

If you’ve ever called Oz or Gangnam Ave, there is always a wait. It was refreshing to get there, sit down, and order within 5 minutes. The servers were nice. We chose our 3 meets off the family menu (e.g the regular menu and not premium) and each of us chose a side dish. Then off we went to the buffet bar which had a good variety. If your kids don’t stray from French fries and fried chicken or pots stickers, no worries, they’ve got you.

Our meat came and there were frequent enough changes of the grill so things didn’t burn. Frequent enough stops from the servers for water refills and checking on the dishes we finished. We enjoyed the kalbi and bulgogi dishes. What was great was that the AYCE buffet had the rice rolls and the daicon slices to wrap the meat as well as lettuce.

The side dishes had good variety, the corn was sweet, the soba noodles were flavorful (both spicy and not spicy), and the ramen well, was ramen (don’t expect Ramen Ryujin, it’s just a side dish).

Finally the fruit and the s’mores for dessert were great. Here’s the SMORES HACK YOU NEED TK READ: create a pocket in the marshmallow for your chocolate, take two skewers to secure each side of the chocolate and roast away.

We’re looking forward to their early bird special but missed...
