I'm uncertain it what it was yet a number of points accords that I desired to note in concerns to our experience, that didn't really involve the dining establishments service. May be worth keeping in mind if you're looking to dine here.First is based on the images of the pizza (which all look impressive) I was under the impression that this was even more of a rest down pizza location, and instead found that it more like a take out location (if that makes feeling). Of course there's areas for seating if you choose to consume here, however it really isn't the kind of pizza location you head out of your way to head to enjoy a pizza in the facility. Delish Pizza is more like a neighborhood Domino's or Little Ceasars pizza store but with a couple of tables to take a seat as well as consume, as well as my sweetheart as well as I came below thinking it was more of a good location to go. For a stress-free couples evening out but that simply had not been the case. Also for some reason it was ACTUALLY difficult to find this location base upon the address that was given on Yelp, and also we actually drove past the shopping center the very first time as well as in some way were taken to a much smaller sized plaza with a massage shop in it ... obviously we kept looking for the restaurant and also reversed about as well as we led down a side road off of Folsom, and also eventually located the pizza shop.We also need to have chosen ahead here on the wrong night as it took FOREVER to obtain our food. When we showed up and also recognized it was even more of a pizza store than a pizza restaurant, we chose to still make the best of it considering that we existed. As well as obtained a both after putting our order ... yet after waiting nearly a hr for 1 pizza as well as some sides, and also asking several times exactly how much longer it would certainly be. Our pizza was lastly all set, and rather than consuming there. We took our pizza back residence on the 20-25 minute drive back to Elk Grove. Also one more thing to note was that the cooking/prep location of the restaurant was actually unpleasant and also unclean. They was pizza things all over the flooring as the really young personnel hurried to and fro to make the orders. I get making pizzas can be an untidy job, specifically with a high quantity of orders to complete. Somebody might have at the very least been back there cleansing up the messes as well at some point, to maintain that all to a minimum. And to track all of it of the place in the back.OVERALL: The experience was most definitely unworthy the 20-25 min drive and also hr lengthy wait. I rejoice however that a minimum of the pizza still tasted good after...
Read more'20/1 1st time customer (thanks to high Google Review marks) and review: -- Let's just start off being clear that it's hard to believe I'm saying this...hubby and I agree this pizza rivals the very good Round Table Pizza chain, BUT way better prices and customer service/employees. -- Great employee phone skills, listening, and above/beyond care (versus disgruntled/indifferent employees run across at other generic/chain pizza joints). Several employees had asked if I had been helped yet. -- Quality, sumptuous ingredients make for an impressively weighty pie--i.e. they don't skimp. Kudos to Delish for keeping the prices affordable while still putting out a quality product. -- Quick, consistently reliable pie within 20 minutes of ordering. -- Yes, high chairs (the wooden kind, 3 or 4, see picture). -- Bar height order/payment counter can be a put-off for wheelchair bound patrons. -- Small dining/waiting/ordering area completely taken up by one side being a long, shared table, and the other side two bar-height tables (see pictures). Not well suited for small children or handicap seating as will either be in the way of front door, patrons coming/going, the order/caahier counter, patrons waiting, condiments counter, or beverage cold case. -- While there is handicapped parking, be prepared to walk! The parking is on the other side of a two-way car lane in front of the strip mall, plus a slight incline to get to the sidewalk fronting the strip mall, then a walk several doors...
Read moreOne of the most consistently good pizza places still around. My whole family loves the pizza here, in fact, it's probably my kids favorite pizza.
It has it's small quirks like the web site can be pretty wonky trying to order online, especially if attempted on mobile, but the food makes up for it every time. They're not really well suited for dine-in, but you can and there are tables.
Their combination has actually toppings, their thick and stuffed crust are delicious, and when you order extra cheese amazingly you can see extra cheese.
In this day and age Pizza places are going down hill fast. A lot of pizza places I once loved I won't order from now. Delish however has only once delivered a pizza I wasn't really happy with and they more than made up for it.
Keep in mind, I have been ordering from this place since they first opened and I've ordered a lot of pizzas here.
I will continue to come back for as long as they continue to deliver great pies for reasonable prices!
This is the only place I have been to where they hand roll their own stuffed crust pizza and even allowed me to order thick stuffed crust which is the best crust I have ever had anywhere ever!
The picture is an XL Thick-Stuffed Crust Peperoni & Sausage with extra cheese along with a free garlic cheesy bread I got for having 5 points with their...
