The service at this place really rises above the rest. You are made to feel welcome the minute you walk up to the counter. It’s not unusual to have conversations with the owners. This is an order-at-the-bar place, where food is later delivered to your table. We’ve only had a few of the menu items, but each one has been delicious. The beer menu is focused on Northern California breweries, however there is also a sprinkling of options from throughout the U.S., and oversees as well. The chile relleno panini pictured here is a vegetarian version (vegan sausage on request). The standard version comes with traditional sausage. I was super impressed with the variety of hot sauces available. That’s a passion-spot for me - so hats off for that! I’m looking forward to making this place our go-to favorite when in the Tahoe Park area.

Great beer selection and when weather warms up they have an amazing outdoor seating space which is covered, was too windy when we went. Food was slow to arrive but they were pretty slammed with it being their 5th anniversary. They were quick on the beer orders and an awesome selection of local and regional beers on tap. Big fan of The Alaro Bennett and for cider drinkers they have Two Rivers on tap. Overall vibe of this place was great, they had a dj spin vinyl inside and a local band perform outside. Don't know if that was just for their anniversary or if it's a weekly thing. Would definitely go back and try the breakfast donut holes!

In the Tallac village you will find this hidden gem. Bar staff were knowledgeable about their beers and offered one of the tastiest stouts I’ve ever had. The Mole tacos were absolutely delicious. I’m picky with sweet mole sauces, but this one was not sweet at all. Three stouts in I had forgotten to take a picture of it ☺️ There is large outdoor patio seating. Two flatscreens. The decor is contemporary with some natural finishes. Clean place and the bathrooms were also clean and stocked. Overall good vibes and friendly folks in a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely return!

A quality neighborhood gathering spot in Tahoe Park. Sac City Brews has great local drinks to try, and they always have a variety for different tastes (I also appreciate that there is usually a hard seltzer and/or hard kombucha on the menu for people that don't like beer). The food menu has some great staples and the chefs add some great rotating specials. Highlights include Wednesdays (which has reduced prices on select appetizers and beers) and Thursdays (Tot Night - need I say anymore?). Brunch on weekends is great with bottomless mimosas! Also they've managed to keep all their outdoor seating, so there's always a spot for a large group. And they have a ton of games and toys to keep kids entertained. It really...

If you live in one of the surrounding neighborhoods, this is your local pub and you're a regular; you just don't know it yet.

The rotating beer list is eclectic, mostly local, and well conceived. There will be something to drink for everyone.

Calling this a taphouse, however, is burying the lede. This is one of the best restaurants in the area. The menu is creative and dynamic. The ownership has connections to local ag, and access to good seasonal ingredients that they use to great effect. Check out the specials.

Great for kids. There are toys, games, and always other children around. The atmosphere is lively enough that they can be free without bothering other patrons. Half the seating is patio, and dogs...
