Subway — Restaurant in Sacramento

Came to leave a negative review, and was glad to see this location closed down. I have lived in the neighborhood since 2014 and frequented this location often, sometimes multiple times per week. Early on, the service was great; particularly one worker (Curtis) who had a great rapport with the usual customers, had a great work ethic and worked amazingly quick. All around, going to this place was a great experience.

But in the last couple years (2017-2018), the store became avoidable. Food ingredients, meats, and veggies ran sparse on a regular basis. Vegetables were not fresh (white tomato slices???). The workers, some of which seemed hardly old enough to have a work permit, became increasingly less competent. In my final, back-breaking encounter, a worker had zero clue on how to make my sandwich, and I basically instructed him how to make it -- and after all that, and nearly 10 minutes to make one sandwich, he miscalculated my bill about 50% more than what it should have been. I just said Forget it, and walked out. Clearly, management was lacking/non-existent, and I could sense many workers I encountered were not happy with how they were treated (by management).

I really hope that whoever was managing this location does not appear anywhere else -- you were terrible.

Such a ridiculous thing to not let customers use the customer restroom due to COVID-19. How can people be expected to wash up before eating food from a place that prepares food and allows people to eat it there! There was ample staff and taking care of the facilities would not have been outside the scope of regular work duties. On top of everything most cities have lifted the mask mandates and CDC encourages people to wash hands often. The place was not even clean and no measures were taken by staff other than face masks to protect themselves or the public from covid. Disposable masks that could have been used more than once (who knows?) The point is- I wouldn't recommend any place to eat that didn't allow a customer to wash their hands before eating!!! 0 stars except the one needed to...

The food was prepared ok but maybe with way to much ranch on the chicken bacon ranch. The main reason for my low rating is because I was stuck on foot all day searching for my car after getting out of the hospital and the employee's here refused to let me sit down inside and eat/drink my meal. I saw employee's sitting in the guest area with friends talking and eating yet a customer that just paid 10-15 dollars for their meal can't even sit down?
