Subway — Restaurant in Sacramento

I generally patronize this Subway store since it's the closest in proximity to my home. After my recent visit on a Sunday morning, I've decided to take my business to other Subway locations. I stopped by around 10:00 a.m. to order an egg, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich. As the sandwich maker was preparing my order, she and the other employee present realized that the toaster oven hadn't been turned on. Since I wanted my sandwich toasted, they informed me that it would take at least 5 to 8 minutes for the oven to warm up. After waiting for about 4 to 5 minutes, I decided to leave and go elsewhere for a breakfast sandwich. This Subway opens at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays; how could they neglect turning on the toaster oven? Ordering something familiar on a Friday night. We use the app. The store hours are until 10:00 pm & our order says will be ready @ 9:05 pm.

We live around the corner, so my Grandson is on his way to pick the sandwich’s & I get a call @ 9:10 pm.

Young female voice says- Ya - did you order sandwiches @ subway? Well we have them & we are going to close early. ?????? When are you going to be here? I advised them my Grandson should be walking up to the store. They say ok & hang up. No- we apologize, no - thank you, just an irritated sounding voice, that we were imposing on their Friday evening!

The woman taking my order was rude, and didn’t make my food right. I tried to ask her to toast it twice and she ignored me. She didn’t hand me my sandwich. She set it on top of a bunch of bags and paper and I had to ask someone else for it. She had a horrible attitude. I hope what ever bad day she was having gets better and that she learns not to take it out on other people. I’ve worked in both, fast food and a restaurant. This was terrible customer service.
