We've gone to a lot of shows here and I'm grateful for Two Rivers for hosting. It's a good spot. The last two times we were met with rudeness from the same employee and I'm starting to find it intolerable. The first incident was in March. We got there early and weren't allowed to be seated yet so I asked if I could keep my heavy jacket on the seat while we waited outside. We were assured our seats would be saved. We came in to a bunch of people sitting there and when I asked where my jacket was, it was moved somewhere else. When I asked the employee what happened, he took us to a table close to the stage where a couple were already sitting with their cider. He asked them to get up and move for us! As the couple started getting up, we said not to do that and sat somewhere else. I was upset that someone touched my property and then tried to inconvenience someone else who had nothing to do with it. The second incident was last night. We were told not to sit where there was a number or name as it was reserved. So we sat where there were no markings of any kind. This same rude employee came over and said that it was reserved and we couldn't sit there. We sat somewhere else. The employee looked over at us multiple times and scorned. Halfway thru the show there was still no one in the unmarked "reserved" seats, so we again checked for markings and saw none and sat there. At least 10 minutes go by. He comes over and tells us that leaving our empty glasses was "disrespectful" (what??) and "you could've asked to sit there. But no, go ahead and sit there. You can sit there this time." We've never had a problem with any other patron or employee. In fact they've all been super kind! I lost my ID there and they took my number, found it later and called me. Obviously I'm still upset. We come here often. We buy multiple rounds. This guy used to be kind, and now we feel like we are treated differently. I want to continue to support my friends and their shows, but that dude now makes it an unenjoyable, unwelcome and...
Read moreI'm a big cider drinker so I was thrilled when my friends said they were having their wedding after party here! Since this was our first time at Two Rivers, my spouse and I both got flights so we could try 8 flavors, and each one was incredible. A good balance of sweetness and dryness, and they tasted clearly of the different fruits.
Service was super friendly, the bartender explained which flavors were limited-edition and which were especially popular, which helped us make our decisions, though I doubt there's a bad cider on the menu.
There was a nice acoustic country musician playing outdoors for most of our visit; the music was at just the right level that we could enjoy it but still converse with our friends. The outdoor seating is also dog-friendly, as attested by the table with three very cute dogs.
I'd definitely be a regular if I...
Read moreTwo Rivers Cider brings in a variety of food trucks and food vendors. Today was Ms. Zeaux, and the food was delicious! I had the tri-tip chili with cornbread, and the tastes brought back some of the best memories of my childhood.
Ms. Zeaux makes everything from scratch, even the dry rubs for her ribs and beef. The chili was chock full of tri-tip and it had just the right amount of spice! The cornbread was super moist and had a sweetness that I remember from my Grandma's cornbread.
I visit Two Rivers Cider regularly, and this was some of the most delicious foods that I have had there. Ms. Zeaux's prices are reasonable and the food is delicious and fresh!
Did I just eat chili and cornbread in the summertime?! Yes, and so should you. Check out Ms. Zeaux's food booth the next time you are at Two...
