I usually love Jerry's but last night was awful! It was just a little busy when we got there but took forever just to get our drinks. We were just getting sampler platters and before we could even say we were ready to order he walked away. Had to go up and find someone 15 minutes later to tell them we were ready. Had to go find someone 20 min later to see where the food was, we were still 6 tickets behind. Had to go find someone 15 minutes later to tell them we haven't once seen our waiter and we need refills we went out this time he was no where to be found and we thought he might have got off work. The table next to us also got up at this time to tell them they were missing drinks they hadn't got yet. It also was not busy at all now. Someone else brought us some drinks this time. Had to again check on our food ourselves to find we were the next ticket. They didn't inform us they were out of onion rings and chose to give us fries instead, never mentioned a word. He brought us our food so we knew he was still there. After we ate and went outside it smelt like weed REALLY bad. My sister was parked close to the back and yelled out to me as I was walking to my own car about the air smelling like it did and she heard a bunch of the staff in the back laughing and she realized they were back there smoking weed and that's why we had the service that we had. Guess he was too busy with smoking or not aware enough to care about his job. It was so frustrating because it took an hour and a half for three sampler platters and a kids meal and we didn't get out of there until past 10...
Read moreWe went to our local Jerry's which I have been going to for thirty years with never a problem.when we entered someone told us to be seated. The only tables were dirty which was all of them so we sat down and waited to be served. Then they started clearing all of the tables but skipped ours,during this time they let another lady sit in a dirty booth and was waited then and there. When the Manager came out I told him what was going why have not been waited on. The Manager told me with a very unprofessional and angry retort that I hadn't been waited on because I had sat at a table that wasn't cleared. It was obvious at that point that we had been purposely ignored because this tyrant had decided to play King because he could. We left after I told him place sucked and him and his staffed sucked. There was one funny part when the manager came RUNNING out of the restaurant and screamed "AND DON'T COME BACK!" He was red faced and unhinged. Like I would go back there after that. I think somebody needs a nap.

My 85 year old Mother was there with me that day and she has been going there longer than me. Read moreMy hubby Bill wanted to help me better heal from this lingering bronchitis, and that I needed to "build up my strength." Beef liver is a fave of mine that I just won't fix at home (B is decidedly not a fan,...).
So after shopping in town, we stopped by Jerry's, since it's the only local place I'm aware of which offers that meal, and on the senior menu, as well...
And I was certainly not disappointed! Perfectly cooked, no onions (yay! -- ick), and a lovely mixed-greens salad -- all in all, a wonderful meal with just the right size portion.
Bill had the reuben, and would order it again. He did admit that the macaroni salad was a little disappointing, but he's never found restaurant-made that was as good as his own recipe (of course!). But he did like the flat noodles instead of tubular.
Now, for the service: Our server Brandy was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. She didn't hover, just seemed to know when to stop and ask if we needed anything more.
All in all, a pleasant, tasty, and satisfying visit. We'll be back!
(Suggestion -- She wasn't wearing her name tag, but that's because it's misspelled as 'Brady.' Please make a new, correct one. In our case, she earned it!)
