Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

Time and time again I've given this place a chance to prove themselves. And every single time they mess up at least one of our orders. When we come in together, sit together, order together, we should be able to eat together. That is never the case in this place. There's always one of us sitting at the table waiting for our meal to be fixed correctly while the rest of us eat and when the proper order gets brought out, everyone else is ready to go. If the cooks can't read to get the orders right, they obviously need new jobs. And if you don't know how to make a steak well done then don't be a cook at a place where your patrons are allowed to choose the pinkness of their meat. As for the waitresses, when you order something like potatoes and you want butter or cheese sticks with marinara or chicken wings with barbecue sauce, don't forget that stuff should come with that in the first place that you shouldn't have to run back for it. No one enjoys cold food when it's supposed to be hot; and the more you make us wait, it gets cold. The colder it gets, the less appetizing it is, the less hungry we become, the more ornery we get... Then you wonder why people don't want their food but to be refunded instead so that they can go to an establishment that knows what the hell they're doing so we can eat after a long day. Don't even get me started on the managers. No understanding, no apologies, just a shrug of the shoulder and a cold walk away. Applebee's on Tittabawassee has its issues too, but it definitely beats Applebee's on State - friendly staff, good cooks,...

The staff was nice, and the tables were clean. However, waited for our food for 45 minutes to an hour, our waitress did not give us any straws and when asked for our straws she gave our table a single straw. We had to ask her for more straws. The food was not worth the price, if I was a poor minded individual I would have walked out without paying, and i probably wouldn’t have felt bad about it. After waiting for almost an hour for our food, it was missing ingredients and was not put together in an appealing manner. The buns would be too toasted to the point they were cutting mouths, and some ingredients were unorganized on the sandwich which would leave other buns soaked and soggy. Ordered sauce on the side and it had been sitting in the window so long that there was a layer of dried sauce on the top that was very unappetizing. Staff made no adjustments to compensate for disappointment in our meal and we paid for our unappealing meal with full expenses and they did not seem to feel like they did anything wrong. I understand product was made and as a customer it’s our responsibility to pay for the product, but this product was not only disgusting to eat, but was much too expensive then its value to me as a customer. I will not return, and I will encourage others not to return unless the staff increases their products, prices, and performances. I have found McDonald’s to have better services then them lately. Let me start by saying I come to this Applebee's quite religiously and I have never had such a bad experience. It was busy and my friends and I have worked with and around food and understand the difficulties it can hold with wait time and such. It took our waitress probably 10 mins to start our orders. All of us being patient at that point. Later after we recieved our meals our drinks were empty soon after. Let me also mention that when our waitress handed us our food she walked away saying nothing. I had to ask for extra things almost yelling as she walked away. It took about 10 minutes to get the waitresses attention and then 15 minutes to get my drink and ONLY because I had to ASK for it. Not only did I receive my drink 15 minutes later after asking but my friend there with me never got her drink she asked for at the same time as I. I had to ASK AGAIN for her drink that she never got us. She never once checked on us asking if our food was good throughout the meal or if we needed anything. I also ordered and extra set of boneless buffalo wings and received them looking like they've been sitting for so long in the back. Dry and gross looking. Not only that but it took her 13 minutes to come grab our cards after having us the bills and give them back!!! Horrible experience and EXTREMELY disappointed. She had probably one other table by the end of the night who she talked to the whole night and stayed at. Ridiculous. Won't be back...
