Warner's Snack Bar — Restaurant in Saint Albans Town

My family and I went here tonight for the 1st time. 3 burgers, 1 turkey sandwich, 3 fries, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, 1 plate from the salad bar, 2 waters, 1 soda, 1 milkshake....OVER $100! Portions were not large either, basically fair food. As we waited for our food, a septic truck pulls up and begins to pump the restaurant's tank! All the windows are open, the smell is getting worse and worse. My kids are literally gagging at this point and don't want their food. My husband & I are getting more disgusted as well. I go to the counter to ask for to-go containers and ask to speak to a manager. Manager comes out, I say "I just spent over $100 for food and my kids are gagging because you're having your septic tank pumped at dinner time. (About 5:30). She literally says nothing...just stares at me. An older gentleman cooking overheard and yells over at me, "We had no choice!" as he throws his hands up at me. EXTREMELY rude and EXTREMELY overpriced! I will never go there again and recommend to anyone going there to bring your bank roll and expect...

I've been going to Warners now for almost 15 years and I can tell you that it's not what is use to be. The fish and chip dinner use to be amazing, big full size filets pushing out of the sides of the container, big/fresh onion rings all shapes and sizes, and low prices for the most part. I recently purchased the fish and chips and got 8 onion rings that looked like they were from BK and two uniform cut fish sticks that were straight out of the Gordons fisherman box.... The burger, the fries, the hotdog, and Mac and cheese were ok. I paid 40 dollars for enough food to feed a single person and the quality was worse then the freezer section. This really sucks... they used to be so good! The last couple years have been bad.... this...

5-4-23: This establishment is BLATANTLY BREAKING VERMONT LAW - in YEARS at this point! Regarding restaurant/food establishments: ANY USE OF Styrofoam products and plastic straws was BANNED by Vermont Law over 3 YEARS AGO. And Warner's it appears, could care less about Vermont Laws, the environment, or the health of our wildlife. PLEASE, MY FELLOW CUSTOMERS IN FRANKLIN COUNTY: SPEAK OUT to Warner's "since 1966" (when I was 5). OR WE CAN DO A GLOBAL PETITION AGAINST THEM FOR BREAKING VERMONT LAWS? They can choose what we do. Abide by Vermont Law or be SHUT DOWN by the people = YOUR CUSTOMERS. Don't...
