Scheduled a tire installation appointment over a month ago and had tires shipped to the store. Dropped off my truck, and 30 minutes later I got a call asking me to go back to the auto center. Turns out Walmart shipped the totally wrong size/brand tires, something that wouldnât fit a truck but maybe a sedan, and they didnât happen to check to make sure the tires were right while they sat there for a week. Had to try to reorder the tires 3 more times which Walmart.com kept cancelling, for suspected âfraudâ as a result of their cancelling. Finally had to order my tires from a different store, and kept the Walmart installation appt since everyone else was booked out unfortunately. Got to the appt that I made separate from any tire purchase, got confirmation for, and all. The woman behind the desk said my appointment was dropped/cancelled since I didnât pick up tires within 10 days (what tires? The ones that got returned from the store since yâall messed up, or the ones I tried to order multiple times over the past week and never even showed up to the store?) anyway, she said there was nothing that could be done, I wouldnât get my tires put on, and Iâd have to call customer service. So two appointments wasted because of Walmart. Finally got to speak with the manager 40 minutes after my appt was scheduled, who was very reasonable (and the only one who is a normal person there it seems) and he said it would be no problem to get me in for my appt, and the appt shouldnât have been cancelled. Asides from the service manager, everyone working in the auto center has no idea whatâs going on, and between this location and Walmart.com, Iâve never experienced such trouble buying and installing tires. This is the first time I tried out Walmart auto centers, and itâll be the last⌠never buy tires through Walmart. And for all of this trouble and wasted time, I got to pay $40 more for the install since I brought my own tires (never offered a comp/discount for the screwed up tire shipment from Walmart distributors), which they didnât tell me about until after the service when I was paying, and Walmart customer service offered me a very generous $25! đ Best part is, I wasnât even the only one in line whoâs appointments/tire orders Walmart screwed up. Do yourself a favor and go literally...
Read moreOverall, this Walmart is a godsend for Franklin County as we no longer have to take a trip to Burlington to get every ordinary items.
There is plenty of parking even during busy hours. The parking lot is well plowed and salted during the winter. I recommend everyone to park far away from the building (especially in the morning) if they donât want their car damaged by shopping carts or other vehicles.
I have had pricing issues in the past where prices or advertisements were not honored. They try to keep you there as long as possible so that you give up on getting them to honor their advertised pricing.
One day, I didnât feel like going through the self-checkout so I waited in line for a cashier. I waited about 5 minutes in line, but it was to be expected. My problem was that the cashier charged me $5 for a jug of water. I had to wait 5 to 10 minutes in line at customer service for this issue to be resolved.
If you ever have an issue, ask to talk to the manager. If they tell you the manager is not available and no one is willing to resolve your issue, contact the Walmart corporate number (1-800-WALMART)
I recommend going through the self checkout because you wonât be overcharged for extra items that you didnât purchase. If you need assistance at the self-checkout, you will need to speak up because the attendants do not always notice you need help if you donât speak up about it.
The auto service center has been very helpful. I recommend that you arrive as early as possible. They are open during the week at 7am. Services are performed at a first come first serve basis.
There are times where this Walmart doesnât have enough cashiers or auto service workers due to people calling in sick or not showing up. Expect the unexpected.

Read moreEvery time I shop at this Walmart there's at least 1 item mispriced. Will be $22 for cat food on the shelf, I'll double check, go to leave and at register it's $28. EVERYTIME I GO TO WALMART... Usually IF I catch it, someone will go check and give you that price. They won't fix it int he system so the next person doesn't get bait and switched but they will fix it, last night, the lady told me.... Oh these jolley rancher popsicle... they're more expensive. I said, I just went and double checked, it's trying to charge me $2 extra. She scans it, says nope that's the price. Well it's not the price on the shelf, the price people think they're going to pay.. she said I can't correct it, I'll get in trouble. That's a new one. She also didn't go over there 50' and change the price on the popsicles to indicate the higher price. What a scam. I also now realized I paid for a phone card by itself and I'm not sure if it's worked. Usually I'd get a message through my phone. Either way, this whole marking low prices and and people get home and realize they have paid more for items... this used to not be a thing, this is a new "problem" it's a...
