In the realm of dining, where memories are made, An experience at Applebee's, emotions cascade. Twice a month, a tradition we hold dear, To indulge in meals, filled with joy and cheer.
Applebee's, a haven for taste and delight, Where prices are fair, and the food takes flight. Servers who bring smiles to our little one's face, A place where our daughter finds comfort and grace.
But on that fateful day, our hopes took a dive, As Diana, our server, failed to strive. No hostess in sight as we entered the space, A disorienting start to our dining embrace.
Guided to our table, close to the register's gaze, We ordered our drinks, longing for appetizer trays. Boneless wings, a favorite, arrived without delay, Yet, the plates were unclean, with food astray.
Utensils were missing, our patience was tested, As our food grew cold, our expectations bested. Diana, busy with other tables to tend, Leaving us waiting, our hunger left to suspend.
Finally, we received forks and plates anew, But our server's attention was divided, it's true. Drinks remained unfilled, a strange occurrence to see, For normally, refills flow, bringing joy and glee.
As we dined, periodically checked upon, Our satisfaction shared, though something was wrong. Desserts offered prematurely, before meals were complete, Timing amiss, leaving us feeling offbeat.
Receipt presented, cash placed on the table's ledge, Change awaited, a simple transaction pledge. But Diana vanished, conversing with another soul, Leaving us waiting, patience taking its toll.
After minutes passed, she returned with my receipt, But a mix-up occurred, the wrong order to greet. Confusion marred the moment, frustration took hold, A receipt with alcohol, a story untold.
Upset, I adjusted the tip, feeling slighted, As Diana approached, our interaction ignited. I gathered my belongings, my daughter by my side, Her pacifier lost, a small item she couldn't abide.
Returning swiftly, hope in my stride, I encountered Diana, her words, a deride. She had tossed it away, the pacifier we cherished, Leaving us disappointed, our hopes tarnished.
Oh, neighborhood Applebee's, a place we adored, Now marred by an experience that struck a discord. Our expectations shattered, upset and confused, Feeling profiled, our spirits bruised.
I've shared this story, not to condemn or disdain, But to express the disappointment and lingering pain. For Applebee's was once a cherished retreat, But now, a break we must take, a moment to retreat.
May this be a reminder to all who serve, To treat each guest with respect and preserve. In the realm of dining, where memories reside, Kindness and excellence should...
Read moreMy motto is just as quick as you would write a bad review if you didn't receive good service you should also write a review for good service. We went in today for my daughters eighth birthday and the food and service was phenomenal! There was about 20 of us and Diana was more than attentive and very pleasant to have. She refilled drinks without us having to ask kept coming over to check on us just being right on top of the whole dining experience. I know waiting on a big party is a handful and can be stressful but she didn't break a sweat. It's nice to know you can still go out to dinner with a large party and still receive top-notch service. Not to add the food came out fast and delicious, not one thing was messed up! We will most certainly be back and hopefully, we get Diana again because she definitely made it a all around great dining experience!
I wanted to edit this review I’m currently sitting in Applebee’s right now for a birthday dinner. Diana is always great however tonight Leah the hostess was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in the door Leah was very nice and had the most upbeat attitude. This Applebee’s is by far my favorite and the staff is consistently fantastic. Great job Leah for being such a great hostess. It’s good they have her at the front her attitude is definitely welcoming for guest entering...
Read moreOkay I went in here today with my fiancé and my mother. I actually ordered a chicken salad and it tasted amazing! My mom ordered bbq ribs and trust me if she ain't happy or satisfied with the food, she'd be the first person to defiantly complain. However; my fiancé was not happy. He said the spinich dip along with his chicken was completely burnt. It was and again he eats everything n barely complains. Our waiter was named Shawn, he actually tried his best to resolve the matter as well as the manager... The manager came out too. On top of it the women's bathroom was soaked with water, I hope!! I am seven months pregnant and I almost fell and slipped. However; the whole resterount was very clean, just that incident. I told our waiter about it so another pregnant girl wouldn't trip! Maddie and Seirra were also very great and thanked us when we left while holding the door open for my 60 yr old mother which was very sweet. They were both very sweet girls. I did think the service was really slow though I do feel like this Applebee's has the potential to grow and get only better over time. I am also really picky about everything so I'd be honest on here. Overall I wish to come back and I am not going to let one bad experience change my...
