Great sandwiches, but very poor service. One customer in front of us and three people standing around not doing anything. This is probably the slowest Jersey Mike’s I have ever visited. Everything is done at an extremely slow pace and no one appears to understand the importance of quick prompt service. The amount of time wasted switching from slicing one meat to the next is disastrous and starts the process in slow gear, I watched the cutter take almost two minutes to slice the meat for just one sandwich. Then another person rearranged tomatoes twice to get them perfectly placed on a sandwich. Timing timing timing is killing their performance.
This place could be a gold mine if they could pick up their speed. No urgency is a recipe for disaster. I wish the owner the best, but he needs to pick up on the speed of service.
This is a fast food place that needs to kick it into high gear. If the food is served in a bag it is definitively a fast food establishment! They are just missing...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with the food and service. use to be my favorite place… Lady told me she won’t substitute bacon for ham not even because of price discrepancy (which would be understandable IF ham would cost more than bacon BUT bacon alone cost as much as doubling the rest of the meats so how could it?) instead it was because “it will mess up innovatory” which why can’t you mark a substitution in the system at check out?? Especially since I use to be able to from another employee… either employee fault or a terrible system either way unless something changes regarding this issue I don’t have a reason to go back and I’m definitely making the lack of accommodation known.
bacon alone cost $2.15 for extra but equally doubling any other meats cost $2.35 (even #9 roast beef and turkey or #8 ham and turkey) so how does the business lose money on a substitution of a more expensive add on?

Read moreThis review is regarding the awful service I received from Maddie. Who made my grilled sandwich but did not add the toppings I requested & then unwrapped it pulled the meat off & added some of the toppings then cut it in half, & as I was asking for my other toppings wrapped the sandwich back up & told me to, “have a good day because she’s doing everything & they’ve been busy.” So, I guess depending on how busy Maddie is & her mood depends on how good or accurate your sandwich is. If I hadn’t already paid I would’ve walked out.
Also, to be noted she definitely wasn’t doing “everything” as she said. There were several other employees who were working much harder. The young man who made my husband’s sandwich made several fabulous looking sandwiches including my husband’s! While I was waiting on my one sandwich that Maddie made, he prepared about eight of them! Maddie needs to find a different job....
