Attention: Solid BBQ ALERT 🚨
I like to think of myself connoisseur of foods. BBQ is just one of the several food groups I get into eating, I have a pretty standard checklist.
Proteins. Proteins. Proteins.
I snagged 2 healthy slices of brisket & 2 bones (St.Louis). Brisket had great flavor, seasoned beautifully. Served with a bbq sauce (didn’t need it, didn’t try it), pickles & red onions. Executed perfectly for my taste buds.
Ribs, seasoned just as beautifully. Nibbled that meat right off the bone. (In my mind, everyone reading this is playfully standing up to clap, lol).
Did I get a good value for my money? Did I accomplish my goal of getting that smoke into my bones? Would I order this again? The answer is YES.
Fixings & Sides.
Look at that Mack!
Elbows tossed in a creamy, gooey, flavorful cheese sauce. This Mack was so not Detroit though, it had no Grit insight. You could give 10 people the same recipe & ingredients, but not everyone can nail a cheese sauce. You get 2 sides with the 2 meat combo, this is one of em’ every time. Next.
Beans. A great way to get left over smoked meats. Sticky, tangy & loaded with goodness. (Will try coleslaw next time, was debating this time).
Cornbread. Wrapped in red & white checkered parchment paper, not plastic wrap. What does that tell me ? Not holding this product for long & it’s moist enough it’s not gonna dry out. Sign, sealed & delivered. If your keeping track, thats item after of excellentness.
I needed a little crunch & tossed in an order of krinkle cut fries. Hot, well seasoned & my puppy enjoyed a few as well.
Ordering on line was pain free, the staff was friendly & I will definitely be trying the In House Pastry Chef’s Mud Pie/or Coconut Caramel Bar next time. Thank you for dinner, this isn’t something I can throw together after work and if I did, I couldn’t...
Read moreMy recent visit to Full Rack was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my group walked in, we were greeted by warm and friendly staff that clearly loved what they did. Their enthusiasm was infectious, setting a positive tone for the rest of our dining experience.
What truly amazed us was the speed at which our food arrived—just 10 minutes after placing our order for whole sampler! Despite the quick service, the quality of the barbecue was outstanding. Each dish was bursting with flavor, showcasing the skill and expertise of the chefs in the kitchen.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a rustic charm that felt like it was literally transported from a small town in Tennessee. The simple décor added to the comfortable feel of the place, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal.
Adding to the overall experience was the background music—classic country tunes and alternative rock that added a touch of nostalgia to our evening. It perfectly complemented the laid-back atmosphere of the restaurant, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.
In conclusion, Full Rack offers not only delicious barbecue but also exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. We could not smiling and eating. We can't wait to return and try more of their...
Read moreSmall local barbecue joint I was smacked in the face with the smell of smoke when I walked in the door... It smelled amazing. The young lady at the front counter was very helpful as I am new to the neighborhood and it was my first time there. She talked to me about the menu and then gave me a moment to decide what I wanted to get. I ended up getting a 2x2 which was two meats with two sides and I ordered a pop on the side. I was seated in the small seating area and it's nice and cozy. They have picnic style seating. While I was sitting there the pitmaster came out to talk to another customer and he was talking about some Michigan Cherry BBQ sauce so I casually mentioned that I would like to taste it and he let me have some. It too was also very delicious when my food came out it looked great. The brisket was very flavorful although it was sliced thickly it was not tough it was very tender. The smoke pulled chicken was also delicious. I ate so much brisket that I didn't even get to eat all of my mac and cheese until today I also had a small taste of my baked beans which were good I saved them for today as well. The platter came with a side of pickled onions and a few pickle chips. I will return here to try other dishes, The Texas Twinkies...
