After a not so stellar, first experience (it was only a week or two after their grand opening), I decided to give this place another chance and I’m glad I did! This time I got a pickle pizza, which was really good although I could’ve used more garlic in my opinion, and they remembered the flavored crust (which they missed the first time). They also freshly make their salads but both times I had to wait for them to make since they weren’t yet done when I arrived. The ingredients are high-quality, and their ranch is delicious. I only suggestion would be to have ingredients that are also used on pizza, in the salad cooler instead of having to walk over to the pizza line. All of the salad ingredients requested were there (they missed the peppers the first time), which are my favorite part of an antipasto . The employees are all very friendly and everyone smiles at you. They are still working out some kinks but all in all this is probably my new favorite...
Read moreWas moving some stuff into a new home a couple nights ago and we were all hungry by the end of it, so I decided to try a local place rather than a chain. Being 9:29pm and they close at 10, we were already pushing up against it, but over the phone they were patient with helping me order. I was apologetic for the order so close to their closing time, but over the phone they insisted that it was not a problem.
Upon arriving to pickup the pizza at 9:59, we were happily greeted and even given a small stack of paper plates when we mentioned in an offhand comment that we were moving furniture into a new home and didn't have plates yet. A+ customer service for making us feel welcome even right as they were closing, and for hooking us up with the plates.
All of that aside, the pizza and cheese bread were very good with lots of options for toppings and flavored crusts. They make a good Detroit deep dish. Will...
Read moreOur first time trying Ray’s was exceptional… The Adrianna, NY style. the sauce is light & semi sweet. And in all honesty, the garlic flavored crust & ranch is really the reason I keep coming back.
This time I decided to switch it up and try The Dolce BBQ.. which was not great in my opinion. Not enough sauce and too much bacon :( unfortunately for me, trying a new flavor comes at a cost because the NY style only comes in one size.
The second picture was supposed to be The Adrianna but this time is was not good at all. It was so heavy and wet, the crust was soppy. And I am not sure what these cheese curds were but that has never been on it before in the past. The workers were more than happy to rectify the situation!
Every time trying here has honestly been a different experience.. i will say it’s not always consistent but when this place hits, it slappsss.
excited to still keep trying...
