Hadn't been here in awhile and I had to convinced my 90 year old father to try something new other than his usual picks.

We entered the building and the bar and restaurants were in full swing. It had a bustling crowd, from young (kids) to a older crowd. We were greeted promptly by one of the hostess and were taken to a table right away. Lucky for us as a big crowd of people walked in behind us. Just on the outside of the bar perminiter and the beginning of the semi outside seating. So we were able to have a mix of atmosphere between the bar crowd and the outside seating crowd and the breeze coming in from the outside. It was a good balance.

On the hugh TV's were golf and horse racing and Keno. So there was a mix of things to catch on the TV's. Have to warn one though. If one doesn't like crowds or more than average in noise crowds you'll not like this bar/restaurant, especially if one is older and has a little bit of a hearing problem. Well I was able to have a conversation with my dad. He on the other hand had a difficult time hearing me at times. Not the restaurant's fault though.

We were greeted at the table by, Alyssa, who was not only professional and friendly, she had a pleasant tone of voice and manorism. She was excellent! She took our drink order and was back in no time and took our food order. They have plenty of different entrees, salads, pizza, appetizers to fit anyone's taste.

I ordered the Supreme Nachos, and my dad had ordered the Rueben, but unfortunately they had ran out of the corn beef and no one had told the servers that they had. Alyssa apologized and suggested some of her favorites as alternatives to choose from. My dad had gone with the Shores Club sandwich with a side of coleslaw.

As we sat and wait we talked about the horse racing that was on and about the crowd. I thought the crowd was lively and everyone was having fun and enjoying themselves. My father on the other hand, due to the high noise level, wasn't so keen on the place. I will definitely come back but dad not so much.

Well, we eventually received our food and it looked fabulous. Everything was warm and ( see the attached pictures) for more details, and tasty. Dad enjoyed his sandwich as I enjoyed my Nachos. Alyssa ( Brazilian Crush, I'll call her for the perfume she was wearing-I had to ask her as the aroma was just that pleasing to my senses) came back often to check on us sevetal times (would highly recommend her as she was excellent all the way around) and offered us refills on our drinks. We had only had a couple of Pepsi's, but they do offer a wide variety of different drinks, and cocktails, and beers and wines and some kraft beers.

They do have Happy Hour food and drink specials-Monday thru Friday from 2pm to 5pm with by one appetizer get one free and different daily features. Check their website for further details or their Facebook page @ShoresInn..

They are located on the east side of Greater Mack and just south of 9 Mike rd. Parking is in back of the building which is on the east side of the building. Plenty of parking, handicap parking. They accept cash, credit cards, debit cards. Not sure if they have gift cards or certificates but I would imagine they do offer them for purchase. Great gift ideas!

My only regret is my father insisted on paying and doesn't believe in the 20-25% rule in tipping so he hadn't left Alyssa more than a 15% tip ( before the haters start-I don't carry cash on me most times so I couldn't leave her anymore within the way of tip other than this review until Monday) which I will be stopping by there on Monday to drop off a additional tip for her as she was that good and definitely ask for her section if you happen to stop in for some after work fun or a night on the town. They can handle larger...

This was my first time at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were seated right away. But then this is where it goes downhill. We waited at our table for at least 15 min before anyone acknowledged us. Then someone asked us if anyone was helping us. I told her no. She got our waitress, to which she apologized for not knowing we were there. We ordered our food and drink only to find out that the special root beer that the advertised had not been there for years. So they bring out these cheese sticks that are called Lincoln logs. They were good. Then our food came out. Let's just say you could feed 4 people with this appetizer of nachos if they were even editable. Just looking at them, they did not look appetizing . The chips were burnt along the edges. They were in a mound with cheese that was hard on top, like leather. Then, underneath the cheese, it was not melted at all. It was cold. What a waste. So, I ordered the chicken fajitas in hopes for those to be better. She brought more spur cream and salsa out to the table when I already had a bunch I never touched from the nachos, another waste. My fajitas came out sizzling with no tortillas. So when I got all my food and tried it, the chicken tasted like it was drowning in soy sauce. I never have had fajitas made that way. It was very salty. My son got the chicken tenders with waffel fries, and that was not bad. I did see a table next to me get a deep dish pizza that looked good. At this point, I'm not sure if I would go back. I might give it another try. Maybe they were all having a bad day? If I do, I will update my review. I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere was nice. I'm sorry I didn't take a Pic of the fajitas. They looked good but...

2 stars for the hostess are always rude and unwelcoming! 4 stars for the food and scenery, ill explain; the steak fajitas were great. As was my fathers burger and Food is always big portions ...though we asked for booth and yet young blonde hostess takes us past 3 empty booths all way around to other side of bar looking around confused. To finally arrive at a booth that plates were still being cleaned off table and seat wiped. Gee thanks for giving me a wet a** . Any other restaurant has a list of open tables for the hostess.

we get a short black- haired waitress with the bangs parted to one side was RUDE i have to repeat everything i say cause its so loud! Whipping open her note pad coming back with a glass of lemonade with brown liquid all down the side.

Came by once after food was served to ask "how was everything?" and before me or my father could respond she was turning around and walking away. CAME BACK TO GIVE ANOTHER TRY AND FOOD WAS AWESOME AGAIN! AMBER WAITED ON US AND WAS VERY KIND AND CONSIDERATE when my fathers steak sub was too fatty to eat gave him a burger free of charge and sub wasnt charged either they do care about their customers perception of their establishment! Wasn't overly loud either this time i think they read my original review ... Though really need to Fire those young white guys at the front door they barely acknowledge your existence just start walking away expecting you to follow them to your table and when leaving they say have a good night when your already almost at the door with your back to them? ? Get off you're cell phone and do your job, with a smile too! You could be slaving in a steel shop for a living like...

First time here and we both loved it! Was very busy on a Friday night but only took about 10 minutes for us to get sat. Food choices are huge and everything we tried was delicious. The Lincoln logs were a great appetizer to start. The fish and chips was a huge portion and was delicious can't wait to come back. Great spot for any meal!
