Slice Society — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

This place is GOATED. Other pizza places and restaurants need to take notes. This is genuinely the best pizza I’ve ever had. The wings look good, but then taste at least twice as good as that! They are flavor bombs in every bite and I was incredibly impressed. The fries are fire and well salted. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. This is absolutely my new favorite pizza and wing spot. Plus they make a better Philly Cheeseteak for cheaper than the last restaurant in that location that was a Philly cheesesteak spot. A pizza place is better at a Philly cheesesteak than a specialty spot… says it all right there. Outstanding in all regards. Can’t wait to order again. Also, Slice Society was robbed at St Clair Shores pizza palooza competition. They shouldn’t have tied for first place, they should have won it hands down! Their square and round outclassed everyone...

Our first time trying SS today and they failed miserably. I ordered online and arrived at my pickup time. Pizza was not ready for another 10 minutes. That was strike 1. When told it was ready, they opened box and showed us the pie, it was nuked, strike 2. Black around the edges. They asked if we wanted another one, but we were not going to wait in parking lot for another 25 mins. We asked for a refund, was told a manager was needed. They processed the refund, but nobody apologized for the burnt pizza or for wasting our time, strike 3. No apology, no discount on future orders, Nada. We won’t be going back. Food was great no complaints there. But definitely need to get some training upfront. I get it you guys just opened up. But when i asked the person for the toppings he said he didnt know i said no worries can you look it up and he just was lost. Same thing when i came to grab pizza. I was charged for topping that I substituted and on the phone he didnt say it was extra which i mean i am substituting a topping not adding extra and when i was paying the cost was added and when i asked he said i dont know and was lost again with a whatever attitude.
