Uncle Harry's Deli Restaurant — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

I will give this another try in the future as I did like the Reuben in comparison to most of the other Reubens I have had. Got carry out - dining in is an option but the place is quite tiny and space is a hot commodity.

The Reuben: The bread was solid from I believe a localish Michigan supplier (though it's a weird take to upcharge for toasted/grilled in my opinion). Corned Beef and kraut overall was decent.

Partner got a Turkey sandwich that missed the mark quite a bit. Slaw on the turkey sandwich tasted like it may go uncovered for a bit and took in flavors from other things in the cooler.

Pickles that were included were.... strange flavor wise. Not sure what brand they use but it may have been something included in the brine.

I might have feld a little better about the price if a bag of chips and a soda were part of the package but as is, it felt a bit disappointing unfortunately. Hopefully when I visit in the future the experience will be a bit more favorable. I have heard great things...

Pricy for a sandwich in a mom-and-pop place but absolutely delicious. Parking is in back and then you have to walk back to the front of the bldg to enter. I love their matzo ball soup. Costs extra for your sandwich to be grilled but worth it. Sandwiches are a la carte but do come with a slice of pickle which you can ask for a new or old dill. (New is barely pickled and still color of cucumber.) All the items are named after family/ acquaintances & my favorite is the Adele which is like a reuben but with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. Take your bill up to the counter. Extra napkins (small) are at your table. On your way out, take some bread at the door basket...

Uhh, well I grabbed lunch for my daughter (7) and I.. ordered carryout and I was pretty disappointed. 1st the price...yeah- no. 45+ for chicken tenders and a sandwich?? No fries with mine just a tiny side of slaw. Kinda high for my liking. I kept saying that that sandwich better be the best sandwich I've ever had... It was like a regular ol' Reuben.. a tad dry for my liking but maybe people just order extra sauce and I didn't know 🤷‍♀️ I mean it wasn't horrible but not the best I've had..other thing I wasn't fond of was our carryout bag had no ketchup, napkins or plastic wear so I had to go all the way back in ...
