I came to this restaurant with my partner after seeing the reviews. Service wasn’t salty but it was slow like a snail. I was sitting there for 30mins til a waitress came back to take my order. Keep in mind it was during lunch time and it wasn’t busy at all. There were only a couple of tables filled. The tables were also very close to each other. I had a hard time getting out and squishing between my partner and the customer as well. I ordered a steak burger, fries automatically came on the side. The food took even longer to come out. It was another 45mins wait from placing the order for the food. Once it came out I was ready to dig in. I took a bite out of the fries which didn’t look tasty in the first place. They were stale, overcooked, lathered with parmesan and garlic. They need to relax on the seasoning and use the sprinkle side and not the open spoon side. After the fries didn’t taste up to par, I tried the burger. It looked huge only because of the top bun. That bun was so puffed up and could have shared its fluff to the bottom bun. I took one bite of this burger and immediately was disappointed. The burger sure looked pink in the middle, but the outside was burnt and gross. The burger had a burnt taste to it and made me feel sick immediately. There was two strips of lettuce on the paddy and one tomato, a slime string of cheese and over cooked bacon. I wanted to eat the whole burger, but unfortunately the bottom bun was soggy as a leftover cereal and milk bowl. The only thing that tasted good was the fry sauce it came with. Congrats chef! You can make a tasty fry sauce. You need to work on your food though and figure your life out. The whole experience was not what I had expected, especially after seeing 5 star rating reviews. Service was slow and working hard for those tips using a fake smile. Food came out way longer than it should have been. For $60 for two people was not worth it based on quality, taste, temperature and service. I feel bad for the next victim to come across this joke of a “fancy” restaurant. Food was so bad I’d leave no stars if it would let me. Get a better chef or someone who can cook! This was my second time and the experience remained the same, disappointing, gross, making me feel sick (throwing up), and poor service in a squished dining room. I would go and eat off a free cliff with my own cooked meals. Keyword FREE and DELICIOUS on homemade cooked meals on a cliffside next to this crappy restaurant. Manger at this restaurant doesn’t even acknowledge how bad to food was. I brought this all to the attention of a waiter and manager at the same time. They claimed I was wrong and burnt flavor is part of the food. I was astonished by the whole back talking and rudeness of their service against my food. I tried to get a refund for it, but unfortunately they think I am in the wrong and that I shouldn’t have a weak stomach to their food. THIS PLACE NEEDS A HEALTH FOOD INSPECTOR AND OVERALL BECOME RENEWED. WASTE OF...

They enjoyed lunch here so much the other day that they offered to watch our 5 kids so we could go try it but unfortunately I left disappointed enough that I felt I had to write a review. In short, the feel and pricing left me very excited for some amazing food and most of it was very bland and disappointing.
First, the good: Atmosphere: excellent views of the city and a perfect date night ambiance. The salmon with mango Salsa my wife got was very good. The shrimp were basically a carbon copy of Outback but much smaller and not as well presented. My first impression was “that’s rather meager.” But they were pretty good.
The ugly: I ordered a $56 ribeye with chimichurri butter on a bed of potatoes and Brussels sprouts. My first impression was “I’m surprised they don’t include a nice side salad with this.” The steak was cooked well but was very bland. So much so I had to ask for steak sauce which I never do and salt/peppered it. Even then, it had very little flavor. I would have been disappointed at $18 let alone $56. I’ve never had a steak at Chilis or Outback that bland. I wish I had stayed home and had my wife cook one for me. The potatoes were ok but there were exactly two quarters of one Brussels sprout in total which after everything else was pretty comical. My father in law raved about the $6 limeade so I was very excited to give it a try as I generally love limeade. It too was underwhelming and rather bland. It look fun and delicious but left me wishing I hadn’t ordered it. I ended up drinking more ice water than the limeade. My wife also didn’t care for it much and together we drank just 3/4 of the glass.
We planned to enjoy a dessert but being already $110-120 into the meal and disappointed in 2/3 of it we opted against it. When we got home, my in laws were excited to ask us how it was and were really surprised that it had gone so poorly.
The service was fine although I did notice the waiter next to us gave his guests a second loaf of bread and ours did not.
Overall, I was very excited to spend $120+ on a meal for two thinking it was going to be awesome and I left wishing we had gone to Sakura, Outback, or about anywhere else. Maybe they just had a bad night but I don’t think we’ll be back. I would have shared some of this with the waitress but she never asked how the meal...
Read moreThe view is beautiful, I love the atmosphere! It’s honestly a huge part of the experience dining here, just watching the sun change colors of the mountains as it goes down 😌 10/10 for me. Last time we visited it was cooler and we sat on the patio, this time it was way to hot so we sat indoors & it was still very pretty ^_^
It was a busy night so I’d have to give service a little grace on timing, but they forgot our 2yo daughter’s food, so our meals came first and we had to wait for hers after reminding the server. Our server herself had a very nice personality and did a great job given the circumstances.
Now the food. Last time we dined here, it was lunch and we only bought appetizers and dessert. Specifically the garlic Parmesan fries, calamari, crostini’s, caesar salad, and crème brûlée. All of it was soooooo goood! We had to come back for dinner to have a full meal. Of course we ordered the same appetizers, all still just as good as I remember 😌
The salad on special was a watermelon feta salad on mixed greens with balsamic glaze (YUM!?) I’ve had this salad at different places a ton of times and it’s one of my favorites on a hot day. BUT, I was so disappointed by the overall lack of flavor. The watermelon was tasteless, which is a big part of what made the salad just not work for me, & i ultimately had to send it back because I just don’t know how it could’ve gotten better. They were kind enough to remove it from the bill.
For entrees, we got the ribeye & the pesto cream pasta. The ribeye was cooked medium rare, exactly how we liked it, but sadly was very lacking in flavor. The potatoes that came with the ribeye were also really HARD 😅 it was inedible, I thought my husband was exaggerating but when I poked one with my fork it was actually SOOO hard 😂 The pesto cream pasta (I don’t remember what it’s actually called) was also reallyyyyy lacking in flavor. I really didn’t even want to eat it but I can’t imagine sending back another plate 🫠 so I just ate it but it was just such a sad bowl of pasta 🥺
For desserts we ordered the crème brûlée, chocolate molten cake, and lilikoi cheesecake. Crème brûlée was super yummy like we remembered, and the cheesecake was as expected, but the molten made me want to cry (& not in a good way) 😂 I just ate the ice cream that came with it.
If we come again we’ll stick to the...
