We stumbled upon Sandtown Pizza during an errand run after being away from home for a few months, and decided to give it a try—especially since it boasts some solid reviews. Their deal of two pizza slices and a drink for $10 caught our eye, and the best part? You can mix and match your slices!
Let’s talk flavor. The crust is crisp with a nice undercarriage, a decent flop, and enough structure to showcase the flavors of each element—cheese, crust, sauce, and sausage—without anything overpowering. Surprisingly, their four-cheese pizza stole the spotlight. It’s like the cheese was shouting, “I’m the star of this show!”
We couldn’t resist adding some wings to our order. While someone claimed these were "the best," we went with the spicy Korean BBQ flavor, so direct comparisons will have to wait. What we can confirm is the delightful balance of heat, crispy skin, and bold Korean BBQ flavor that we love. The wings are a perfect size too—not scrawny, but not oversized either.
The customer service matched the food—laid back, pleasant, and friendly, making the whole experience feel even more inviting.
Drinks-wise, they offer bottled sodas and water poured from the tap into reusable bottles, giving the place a European vibe. While I prefer my own bottle, my husband missed his fountain soda fix.
Overall, it’s a fun spot worth checking out if you’re in the mood for flavorful pizza and wings with a laid-back,...

I ordered the 'Foldy with Tomato Soup', and let me tell you, it was a revelation. Imagine a ham-and-cheese calzone but with a personality all its own. It was unique, satisfying, and one of those dishes that makes you wonder, "Why haven’t I tried this before?"
The staff? Absolute rockstars. Personal, attentive, and genuinely kind—like the type who’d notice if you dropped your fork before you even realized it yourself. The layout is spacious, and the 2000s hip hop decor had me vibing hard. The music strikes that perfect balance: loud enough to make your table feel private but not so loud that you’re yelling to order a drink. If I had one tiny wish, it’d be to dim the lights just a smidge for that extra cozy touch, but the overall vibe? Spot on.
Pro tip: Get the LaRosa Pizza. It’s simplicity done so right you’ll think about it for days. From the steak to the peanut butter pie, everything we’ve had here has been fantastic. It’s clear the owners pour their heart and soul into both the food and the community. St. George is lucky to have a spot like this.
Highly recommend—whether you’re there for the foldy goodness, the hip hop throwbacks, or just a great night out. Sandtown Pizza delivers...
Read moreI don’t say this lightly or without having searched — this is the best pizza in St. George.
To be clear, if you are looking for the best VALUE, you’ll be disappointed here. It’s pricey as far as a pizza goes, and it’s not a place you visit when you just want to feed the whole family on a budget.
But it’s absolutely worth a visit, and you won’t be disappointed by the quality or the taste.
We got a Margherita and a Pesto Pear.
In our opinion, the marg was the winner between the two. The pesto pear was delicious, and that’s not a slight on it. The Margherita was just stellar.
Both pies had great undercarriages and a good crisp on each bite.
We ended our meal with a slice of peanut butter pie, and it was very good. If you like peanut butter and chocolate, you’ll probably enjoy it as much as we did.
Areas to improve: The crusts were cooked consistently across both, but one definitely retained the air much better and didn’t get hard and crunchy after cooling off, while the other suffered such a fate. Seems like consistency in stretching the dough might be lacking. The whipped topping on the pie was almost bitter. Was that intentional, or was our on its last leg and about to expire? We opted to remove it from our plate so it didn’t distract from the...
