I had eaten once at your restaurant for lunch and loved the food. I wanted to try it with my husband so he went in last night (3/24/2016) around 7pm for some takeout. He placed his order and sat down to wait. The staff appeared to be teenagers - even the cooks. After several minutes, the line started to get longer and the orders were backing up. He heard the cashiers asking the cooks how long it would take to get some of the orders filled. The cooks replied they were backed up 20-30 minutes. At this point, they decided to temporarily close down the restaurant while the cooks caught up. They put up the closed sign and turned customers away who came inside anyways. Several more approached the door but left without entering. I can't imagine that this is good business in any way. My husband had driven all the way from Washington fields to try your food. If he'd been 5-10 minutes later.... You get my point. He is reluctant now to go there again if that is the way things are run there. We thought the manager/owner should know. Also, the food just wasn't up to snuff. Both of our orders were supposed to come with Island Fries and when he got the food home, we discovered that it was sweet potato fries instead. Without asking us if that was okay! ( it wasn't) And the Tiki tacos were so bland - they left off the sauce. My tempura fish was rubbery. I was so disappointed this time around. Not sure if we should go back. Please tell me this...

We dined in I got a teriyaki bowl it was delicious!!! I NEVER Never finish all my meals at restaurants however ever this was an exception it was so good. They put teriyaki on it, but they also put enough mixtures of tiny peppers and onions to make it have A special flavor That was Terryaki with a little spice-not too much. I had sweet potato tempura. I was with family so I had a non-alcoholic mango 🥭 slushy I would've gone there just for the drink alone it was huge and delicious 😋, my mom got a Pina Colada She could have had mixed with something else- as could have I, but we both chose to have it by itself. It had beautiful Hawaiian music while we ate definitely made those of us who had been miss Hawaii, and memories of hula lessons from childhood came back hearing one of the songs 🎵. They obviously cook your meal when you order, I had a choice between pork, which is what they show on the menu I believe, chicken or I think shrimp chose chicken white rice there's a bit of noodles under the meat and they give the choice of grilled or battered. I chose grilled and it was obvious it was...u could taste it. Courteous staff and clean environment. Kinda hard to find a little place along a strip. They could probably be so much bigger, as long as people are willing to give it a chance eat tempura (Deep fried veggies or shrimp) etc. Step outta the comfort meat and...

Went in tonight now writing this on my phone. This was my first time and my last time to this place. Whatever you order get ready to order 3 of them as they gave me and my wife child size portions. The chicken tasted like rubber and was a lot of sauce very little rice and noodles. I think a happy meal from mcdonalds would of filled me up more. I barely would call mcdonalds food. As for what I got tonight I would call that garbage as that is what I ended up doing with it when ate 2 bites and that was about half the meal right in 2 bites. I wouldn't serve what I received tonight to my dog. Ended up at Wendies and the burger and fries I got filled me up more than the garbage I was servers at Tiki Island. I even was stupid enough to put a tip on before I saw the food. as it was to go. I should of walked away when I saw customers walking from tables to grab the waiter with hair in a bun as he had been chatting for 10 mins to the cooks rather than checking tables. The girl behind the counter with braided hair to 1 side. Was about as much use as Stevie wonder trying to drive. Everything was a effort. Should of took food back and go money back but had plans with friends and family if anyone would like a picture of the garbage they served me I will...

Ok if you are a big Hawaiian Food lover then you have to check out Tiki Island Restaurant in St George Utah. This place has some amazing selections and the only difficulty you are going to experience here is what to get because it all looks good and from our first choice (because we will definitely be coming back) the food tastes even better than it sounds. We went with the Tempura Fish & Chips and as a critic of fresh fish they did dang good and not just for a land locked city. The spicy sauce is amazing. The sweet potato fries are delicious but the The Tempura Battered Onion Rings which are served with an spicy mayo aioli sauce and teriyaki are RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is pretty relaxed just standard kind of cafe seating but plenty of it. In fact we will probably bring the whole team here for a business luncheon or at least have them provide business catering here in St George. Way to go Tiki Island!

This one's a keeper. Friendly, attentive service, and good food. Had an appetizer, salad, and a drink. Good value proposition -- the portions were appropriate for the prices. Presentation and flavors were great too. They accept Android and Apple pay. They have Coke products which is good. While food is on point the menu item visuals are confusing, they need to simplify that and go with a photo menu that lists ingredients, calories, and prices to help guests find what they want faster. For now the just ask for a take out menu and ask them questions. The Tempura Shrimp Oscar and Tiki Island Salad were a hit. Enjoy
