I'm a frequent flyer at Jimmy John's. I have been working at the local university on and off for several years, and they have been my go-to for a quick lunch. My current company goes there almost weekly.
We recently have had several deliveries that have taken an hour or longer. We haven't complained. We know times are tough, and getting help is even harder.
Today was the final straw, and I'm not sure we will be back. I placed an order at 11:58 at 1:45 it hadn't shown up. I called, and they assured me it was coming very soon (my office is maybe a mile from there, and if I hadn't been swamped, I would have just drove over there). At 3, my order still had not shown up, I called back, and they were not friendly or apologetic. Absolutely worst customer service I have experienced from there.
If you are short staffed, just don't bother offering delivery and don't make your customers keep waiting with what felt like no intention of delivering...
Read moreI went to get dinner before work and when walked into the store, I heard two male employees make a bet of what kind of person was going to walk in. I didn't appreciate that, the service was absolutely horrible, and the store had a distinct smell of weed, and the place was absolutely disgusting.
I really think the higher ups needs to go into a night shift and observe their employees, especially when there's weed involved as a safety issue.
I never been to a place where drugs are welcomed into a restaurant.
It was a manager and another male who talked like they were close and while I was waiting, they were making highly inappropriate comments and jokes.
I didn't bother getting my money back, and I threw away my sandwich away, and I went to subway.

The first time, I arrived one hour before closing, and the employees had all their food packed up and put away, as if ready to close. Because of this, the wait time was about 15 minutes for one sandwich. Today, this location was fully staffed, one cashier and three sandwich workers. Upon arriving at the drive thru, I was forewarned by the clerk that the wait time would be at least 10 minutes. I’m not sure why the wait was so long-there weren’t a lot of customers and seemingly plenty of staff, albeit the staff were extremely unenthusiastic and slow.
