I went to the Qdoba in Saint Joseph, MI. I’ve been going here for a quite awhile now. Today I had the most unprofessional encounter with an employee there. I went and parked in the parking lot. There are signs on the door saying “online only” which fine. I put my order in online and waited for a bit and watched as other customers went to the front doors to open and realizing both doors were locked. So I was under the impression that they were going to bring it out to my car. It doesn’t explain on the signs whether or not they were only doing curbside orders or if you could go inside but like I said before both main entrances were locked. Then I start seeing other customers enter through the door without a handle that is not the entrance. So then I am confused. I had waited and given ample time for my order to be done. So then I decided to go inside because I had seen other customer go in there and grab their food no problem. When I got in, the cashier asked me and another customer for our names for the orders. After that exchange was over with, I politely asked if we were supposed to be in here or not, to which she replied with an eye roll and look of irritation that I would even ask. Then I said “because the front doors are locked so I was confused on whether or not it was curbside only?” And she said “ there are signs on the door” not with a very welcoming attitude, rolling of the eyes again. To which I said “I was just asking,” she didn’t say anything nor did I after that. I grabbed my food and left. The food was fine but my experience was terrible. Customer service is everything. I hope that things begin to change there soon as I would like to return. It is the only Qdoba in the area, but would rather not be treated like that by the...
Read morei’ve never left a bad review in my life and it feels weird doing so, but the customer service there is horrible. i love the food and have been there three or four times the last couple of months but every time i go there the employees have the worst attitudes and are rude the whole time. today was the worst. my mom was ordering and nicely asking questions about some of the toppings and the girl making her burrito was beyond rude to her. my mom is a very happy and friendly person, so she was still very nice to the employee, but after that she was visibly sad and didn’t talk much.. i’ve worked in customer service since i was 14 and i completely understand having bad days and being annoyed that you’re stuck at work all day but that’s no excuse to be rude to polite customers.. i like to give people the benefit of the doubt so whenever an employee comes off rude i continue to be as polite as possible. personally, when i’m having a bad day at work, i turn on my smile and friendly customer service voice the second a customer comes in. i don’t expect everyone to have a super smiley and friendly customer service voice but at least make an effort to not be flat out mean to people, that’s unacceptable. i was reading some of the reviews other people wrote and many of them had the same experience as me. i also read the owner replies and they all say the same thing: apologizing and saying they will contact the st joe store and fix it. but based on these reviews, nothing has been done because people are still having bad experiences with these rude employees. i highly recommend hiring some new staff or cracking down on customer service because i’ve never had such horrible...
Read moreI order two kids nachos, and she put 4 pieces of steak in each bowl when I asked if she could put a little more in she got an attitude and said I can but it would be more for extra steak. I said I don't want extra steak, I just want a decent amount. When I asked to talk to a manager she said no manager is here right now. I ended up just paying anyways because my kids wanted it and it was already 7:15 at night. They really need to train their staff on portions and their customer service skills. Update, 6-19-22. This is the first time I have been back since my last review 3 months ago. The staff was much friendlier this time around but still had the same issue with the portion size of the steak. I was given half a scoop of steak instead of a full one. When I said something about it, the other lady working said sorry she is new, but I was never given more steak or compensated in any way. I was told that if I wanted extra steak I would be charged 2.95 for another scoop, I said I don't want extra, I want a full scoop not half of a scoop. When I am paying 11 dollars for a meal I expect the amount I am paying for. They just kept repeating the same thing. I don't know why this location is so stingy with their steak, I never had this issue at any other location. They can give me 3 scoops of rice, but not a full scoop of steak?! It makes no sense! This will be my last time at this location which sucks since it is the only...
